Any insights on this position? What are pay and raises like? If I want to eventually work as an analyst at a hospital, would I be at a dis/advantage compared to TS/PM/SD/QM/Trainer roles (not sure how much this position would work with Epic software versus SQL/Python/etc.)?

I am starting soon and the place I was looking at involved a 1 hr bus commute each way from Downtown Madison (basically at the capitol). Is this a typical commute for people without cars? Is it worth it or should I just pay more to live closer? Also if I do carpooling (without myself driving), would it just be expected I pay something per month? I’m not relying on the carpool option primarily since I don’t have a car.
