My apartment has a “wall sleeve” a/c set up. My conditioner is not the right size/ type as it’s a window unit. Buttt I don’t want to buy a crazy expensive wall unit. The back of the wall sleeve has a grate- so no animals getting in, just possibly little bugs. I’m planning on taping around the panels and covering the insulation with something. Is this really stupid? Am I going to be breathing in fiberglass? The insulation is only above the air conditioner.
