Moving: Minnesota to Atlanta
TLDR; I’ll try to keep it quick, I have a friend (female) who is trying to move down here August 15th for a job. She’s getting paid 2100 monthly and is trying to be in north Atlanta / dunwoody area. Her max rent budget is 950 but anything lower than that is great. We’ve been trying to find places but everywhere is either an hour commute from her job or costs too much money.
Extra info: Not in the best position financially but the job is very very good for her resume (won’t get into specifics for privacy) but unfortunately doesn’t pay good. Are there any suggestions on where she could go?
I mentioned female because she is open to having roommates , but would like them to be women. I’m the only person she knows in Georgia and I’m a guy so yeah
We are concerned about commute because her car is known to cause her troubles, and we want to minimize extra spending on the car if possible
I’ve also tried looking into government funding but haven’t found any that would apply to her
