Motorola Signature

This came from my Motorola signature Indian model, using it here in the United States. I think this phone might have better cameras than the S26 Ultra

Motorola's signature to work in US

I bought the Motorola Signature back in February, a month after it was released. I bought it from an eBay seller. I got the Indian global model, and surprisingly, it works perfectly with all major US carriers: T-Mobile, Verizon, and AT&T.

If you're going to buy one, get the Indian model. I would recommend using an MVNO company like US Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile, Tello, or Google Fi, because if you use this phone with postpaid (as far as AT&T and Verizon) and use the physical SIM card, there are chances that they will kick you off the network. You will have to take the SIM card out, put it into a US model, reactivate it, and then put it back into the SIM tray in the Signature.

MVNO companies usually bypass that hurdle, and I've been using it with US Mobile on Light Speed, which is T-Mobile, Darkstar, AT&T, and Verizon, and I've had no connection issues. The phone surprisingly supports full 5G carrier aggregation. I have tested it with NetMonster, and I'm just blown away by how this phone works just as well as a US domestic phone.

This is the only global phone that will work perfectly like a US domestic phone here in the United States. I have a vivo X300 Pro that doesn't support 5G carrier aggregation. It will work, but it's not the greatest. I hope the next model from Motorola comes out with the Signature Plus and has even better cameras and better specs. That would be awesome.

Thank you, Motorola. You guys nailed this and knocked this out of the park.

APN Issues

I got a question. I'm currently a US Mobile Unlimited Premium customer, and what I have noticed using the Warp Network on my Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus and S26 Ultra, along with the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, is that when you put the Warp SIM card, the phone automatically generates an APN for the device. It's something with the Samsung U1 models, because all of the phones that I own have never been connected to any other carrier prior. They have been brand new, right from the box, never turned on, never used, and I always get unlocked phones so I can use it with any carrier if I wanted to change carriers down the road.

What I think I'm noticing is that, by Samsung automatically generating its own APN, on the Google Pixel you can't go in and adjust the APNs on the US Mobile Warp Network. I think what's happening is that I'm not being 100% connected, provisioned, right to the Verizon network through US Mobile.

Now, I have a 1+13 phone and a 1+15 phone, both US models. On that phone, I can adjust the APNs because US Mobile gave me three sets of APNs:

- Verizon

- Verizon IMS

- Verizon CBS

On my OnePlus devices, I am able to put all of those codes from all three of them, and I get perfect Warp Verizon connectivity. The 5G UW symbol shows up when I use the other phones, the Samsung and Google Pixel. I noticed that notifications don't come in all the time. I can receive calls and text messages, but my notifications don't always come in like they do on the OnePlus.

When I look at the APN settings, I noticed that a lot of it is incorrect. I can't go in and change anything or add or adjust because those Samsung devices and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL completely lock you out of adjusting anything. I'm not sure if it's even safe to try to use those three devices, because I'm just worried that I'm not going to get 100% provisioned to the cell towers. When I use it, I get very low signal. Sometimes it drops to no service, then it kicks right back on, but I don't know what it is. There's something with the U1 models of Samsung and the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL that locks you out compared to the OnePlus. It's a bummer because I really want to use my Samsung devices and my Google Pixel, but I can't use it with 100% confidence because of this APN lockout.

If I go to use this phone with the automatically generated APN that locks it into your phone, am I going to be safe?

Photo comparison Motorola Signature S26 Ultra

Tonight's pictures from the Motorola signature and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, both set for 24 mm

Camera comparison: S25 Plus, S26 Ultra

To all the people that bought the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, I did a comparison of nighttime photos with the S25+ and the S26 Ultra, and there's really no difference. Samsung claims that they put new sensors for better light intake, better nighttime shots. See for yourself. Samsung lied. The only thing the Ultra has is the 100x zoom that you can barely use because all the pictures are completely blurred out compared to an Honor Magic 8 Pro, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Vivo X300 Pro, and Oppo Find X9 Pro that I own. What a crock of crap this is. All the photos have the watermark, so you can see the difference between the two photos, and there's not much difference. A friend of mine has the S24 Ultra. We did a comparison on moon shots. His moon shot is identical to my moon shot on the S26 Ultra, and his phone is two years old. It looks like Samsung is using old camera sensors from probably three to five years ago, claiming that they put new cameras and sensors. I think it's a complete joke.

Dark star signals

Is it just me or Darkstar AT&T? I know this has nothing to do with U.S. Mobile because they only rent the towers off of AT&T, but has this service gone downhill? I mean, I'm getting very low signal inside my home, which is expected, but not to be like one bar and just hanging on by a thread for a signal. Even out in my general public, AT&T doesn't seem to be the company they used to be when I first signed up for U.S. Mobile three years ago on Darkstar. I was getting much better download speeds on speed test, and my cell phone signal seemed to be much better. This is when I was using a Motorola three years ago. I'm using the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and I know Samsung's very good with their Snapdragon to pull a good signal to the phone, but I don't know. It just seems like the service has really gone downhill over the last couple of years. Are they doing something to their network to maybe try to make it better?

I'm not the only one. I've been hearing a lot of other people that have postpaid services, including one of my family members. Where she lives, she gets no service in her house at all, and she has to leave the phone near a window to get connectivity. When she leaves her house, she drives down the bottom of the hill here in Massachusetts, and she loses signal. I don't know what's going on with AT&T, but they used to be really good from what I can remember.

Warp Verizon Issues

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you know that if you have a Motorola Signature, a Google Pixel 9 Pro XL US model, and the new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, if you're going to use Warp, there is a big problem. When you put the SIM card into those devices, the system automatically locks the SIM card, and it also locks the eSIM, where you cannot adjust the APN settings that are needed to get 100% full compatibility with US Mobile's Warp Verizon Network.

You can't go in and adjust it, where there are three sets of APNs that are required to get the full Warp Verizon experience, full network capability. On the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, and the Motorola Signature (that's an Indian version but it works with all three networks), you cannot adjust and add APNs.

Why this happens on Warp? I have no idea. I have reached out to US Mobile. We did all of the troubleshooting. I reached out to Samsung twice to try to figure everything out. We did all the troubleshooting there. There was nothing wrong with the phone. There's nothing wrong with the network. It's the phone. When you can't adjust the APN settings in those three devices, you're not going to get 100% full compatibility to the network.

Now I don't know about the S25 Ultra, the S25 plus, and the regular S25 last year's model. I don't know if that does the same thing, and I don't know about older Pixel phones prior to the 9 series. Just wanted to give everybody a heads up that if you're going to use an unlocked Motorola Signature, Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, just be aware that you're not going to get full network compatibility.

Icon displays

So I was wondering why this is on Lightspeed. My Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra does not show the 5G UC icon on U.S. Mobile's Lightspeed. It does not show the 5G UC icon on my OnePlus 13 U.S. model and my OnePlus 15 U.S. model. The only ones that show the 5G icon, the UC icon, are:

- my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL

- my Motorola RAZR Plus 2024

- my Indian variant Global Phone Motorola Signature

Those three phones display 5G UC. Is that something that U.S. Mobile can fix, or is it something to do with the phone manufacturer who made the device? Because it works on three of my other phones, just not the Samsung or the OnePlus. Is that going to be able to get resolved? It would be nice to see the 5G UC icon on all of my devices.
