28 F | From Lahore who doesn't wanna for for a blind arranged marriage and marry someone she knows nothing about.

BASIC INFORMATION

Age: 28 (Slim, dusky brown)

Height: 5'6"

Weight: 48 Kg

Marital Status: Single / Never Engaged or Married

Residence: Lahore (Born and raised)

Education: I did my Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and am currently pursuing an MS from LUMS.

Work: Currently working part-time online. I am ambitious and intend to pursue a full-time professional career after completing my Master’s degree.

Family Background: I belong to a decent, respectable middle-class family deeply rooted in Lahore. I am one of three sisters. The eldest sister is happily married, and my younger sister is unmarried.

ABOUT ME

PROS:

  1. I try my best to follow my deen (Islam). I dress modestly.
  2. I am very respectful, responsible, kind, loving, and understanding.
  3. I think I look good, attractive and younger than my age because of my height-to-weight ratio and hair but if dusky/brown skin and mild acne issues are a turn-off for you, then this profile isn't right for you.
  4. I like simple marriages (close family Nikah types or something simple and Islamic).
  5. I enjoy reading, watching movies and seasons, and just having fun. I would love to travel more in the future since I haven't had the chance to do it much yet.

NOTE: If you are looking for someone whose family is financially very strong and who will bring a lot of dowry, then again, this profile isn't a right fit for you. In our family, we do give our daughters as much as we can, but since I belong to a middle-class family and am pursuing an MS from LUMS, whatever there was for me is going there (invested in my future on my demand).

CONS:

  1. I don't know how to cook (I am not proud of it, but it never interested me. I have always been more academic and career-oriented, so I mostly preferred that over almost every other thing).
  2. I can be overly emotional at times.

WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR (IN ORDER OF PREFERENCE):

  1. Deen: Should take deen and Akhirah seriously. I am not looking for someone who is perfect in deen or thinks he is perfect in deen and just wants to correct and judge others. But someone who tries his best to be on deen. Trying and trying your best is all that matters, I feel.
  2. Respectful: Respect is non-negotiable to me. I myself have huge respect for each and every human being (and living beings) regardless of their gender, religion, skin color, ethnicity, and opinions. I would like my partner to be respectful not only towards me but all women and all living beings.
  3. Loyal & Emotionally Available: He should be a one-woman man who is loving, caring, God-fearing, and very loyal. He shouldn't be someone who thinks looking at other girls, talking to them too frankly or flirting is harmless and alright.
  4. Protective and Providing: I wrote providing, although I am someone who feels shame taking even a penny from anyone. But the reason I wrote it is because I like that nature. By protective, I mean someone who knows how to support and stand by his woman at all times. Someone who understands that a woman needs protection, pampering, and providing in a way that doesn't feel forced, but rather comes from a place of love and appreciation.
  5. Open Communication and Conflict Resolution: Someone who values talking openly and fixing issues together.
  6. Preferred Age Bracket: 28 – 32 (flexible and negotiable).

Please share your profile only if you are serious and ready for marriage (involving families asap) along with your 3-5 (more/ less) non negotiables.
