Recently certified in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core & Position Management? Need some advice

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to take the SAP Certified – SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Core and Position Management certification and would really appreciate some advice from anyone who has recently completed the certification.

I currently work with SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS) and have hands-on LMS experience, but I don't work with Employee Central or Position Management in my current role.

For those who have recently taken this certification:

  • Is it realistically possible to prepare without real-time project/implementation experience using the SAP Learning Hub content and practice systems?
  • How important is actual hands-on experience with EC and Position Management for passing the assessment?
  • Is the Learning Journey content sufficient, or are there areas where you felt you needed additional resources/practice?
  • How much time would you realistically recommend for someone starting with little/no EC experience?
  • What topics should someone without project experience pay particular attention to?
  • How different is the current assessment from the older exam format?

I'm not looking for dumps or exam questions mainly trying to understand whether someone who doesn't work on EC day-to-day can realistically prepare through Learning Hub alone, and what kind of preparation timeline would be reasonable.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has taken the current version recently, especially people who also came into EC without prior hands-on experience.

Thanks!

SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS) certified with hands-on experience what should my next career move be?

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some honest career guidance from people working in SAP SuccessFactors / SAP LMS / HR Tech, especially those who have experience hiring or working as consultants.

I’m currently a certified SAP SuccessFactors Learning (LMS) consultant and have hands-on professional experience working with LMS in an enterprise environment. My experience includes application support, configuration/functional work, incident management, troubleshooting, working with integrations/connectors, data-related activities, and supporting users/business stakeholders.

I’m now trying to understand how I should position myself in the job market and what I should focus on next.

From what I can see, there are SAP SuccessFactors LMS opportunities, but many of the consultant roles seem to ask for 4–8+ years of experience and end-to-end implementation experience.

So I have a few questions:

  1. How strong is the job market for SAP SuccessFactors LMS currently? Is LMS a good specialization to build a career around, or would it be better to expand into other SuccessFactors modules?
  2. How should someone with hands-on LMS support experience approach the job market? Should I primarily search for: Or are there other job titles I should be searching for?
    • SAP SuccessFactors LMS Consultant
    • SAP LMS Functional Consultant
    • SuccessFactors Consultant
    • SAP HRIS Analyst
    • Application Support Consultant
    • Learning Technology / LMS Consultant
    • HR Technology Consultant
  3. How much does support experience count compared with implementation experience? I have real production/support experience, but I don't want to misrepresent it as end-to-end implementation experience. How can I position my experience so recruiters see the value in it?
  4. What skills should I add to become more marketable?
  5. Should I specialize deeply in LMS or learn another SuccessFactors module? I've seen people recommend Employee Central because it's widely used, but I'm not sure whether adding EC to an LMS profile is actually beneficial or whether I should become a strong LMS specialist first.
  6. What does the career progression look like?

Also, if anyone knows of current job openings that would be a realistic fit for someone with SAP SuccessFactors LMS certification + hands-on experience, I'd really appreciate it if you could share them.

I'm based in India, but I'm also interested in understanding the possibilities for international/remote opportunities eventually.

Would really appreciate advice from people actually working in this space. Thanks!

Am I the only one annoyed by Madhu?

I Really Don't Like What They're Doing With Madhu's Character

Okay, I usually don't like making negative posts about a character, but I genuinely can't stop myself because Madhu's character is really starting to piss me off.

I get what the makers are trying to do. It feels like they're going for an Imtiaz Ali-esque dynamic between Arjun and Madhu, where Arjun is the sad, serious guy and Madhu is the bubbly, carefree manic pixie dream girl who brings him out of his shell before eventually leading him back to Reena. But honestly, it doesn't feel cute or charming to me at all.

There is a difference between being bubbly and goofy and constantly throwing yourself at someone while completely ignoring their boundaries. Madhu basically forced her way into Arjun's life even after he made it clear that he wasn't interested in making friends and was only there to study. Then after relentlessly forcing the friendship, she takes him to a party, keeps asking him to kiss her because otherwise "her saree will go to waste" and then actually kisses him without his consent. If the genders were reversed, we'd immediately call that harassment. But because it's a guy whose boundaries are being crossed, we're supposed to treat it as funny and cute?

She also keeps asking why Arjun isn't ready for a relationship when he has been very clear from the beginning that he wants to focus on his studies and finish his degree. Yet she keeps dragging him into parties, fashion shows and whatever else. Then she takes his phone without permission and calls Reena herself. Does she even understand the concept of boundaries and personal space?

The only good thing that came out of this is that Arjun and Reena finally heard each other's voices, but even that came at the cost of Arjun's decision to not approach Reena first and let her come to him if she wanted to. Now it looks like Arjun is going after Reena again because of something Madhu did.

I understand that Madhu is just a catalyst that eventually brings Arjun and Reena back together, but couldn't they have written that in a more mature and natural way? I mean, look at Kathir. He's also trying to pursue Reena, but he respects her boundaries. He's simply asking her out and is even okay with the date being with her family. He isn't forcing her into anything she doesn't want to do. Because if Kathir behaved the way Madhu does, there would be immediate backlash and we'd rightly call it harassment. So why are we normalising the exact same behavior just because the genders are reversed? I just hope they give her some maturity and character development in the coming episodes and actually show her learning to respect boundaries. That would make her character much more likeable.

Watching Gatta Kusthi and Spotted Heartbeat's Aradhana

https://preview.redd.it/b4q6e6m9csgh1.png?width=1919&format=png&auto=webp&s=b973fae454d93cf388ebc32ebb54f73f20459878

Just started watching Gatta Kusthi and realized the new resident doctor, Aradhana, is in the film!

I usually look up all the new additions to Heartbeat to see what they've worked on before, but this season introduced such an incomprehensible number of new characters in just four episodes that I honestly didn't get around to checking any of them. 😅

I haven't finished the film yet, but from what I've seen so far, she seems to be doing a good job in both. It also made me wonder if she's getting typecast into these strong, slightly antagonistic or angry young woman roles.

That said, her introduction in Heartbeat didn't completely work for me. The whole gun sequence felt a bit too dramatic and gave me the ick, mainly because it didn't feel like the kind of storytelling the show usually does.

Still, I'm hoping there's more depth to her character than what we've seen so far. If they explore her backstory with enough layers and keep it grounded instead of making it overly filmy, I think the character could turn out to be really interesting.

Putting my faith in Deepak sir's writing for now. 🤞

Why Heartbeat Season 3 Isn't Working for Me (So Far)

"You either die a hero or live long enough to become the villain." Sadly, that's what I feel is happening with Heartbeat season 3.

The problem with why the Season 3 launch episodes didn't hit as expected, at least for me, doesn't actually start with Season 3. It starts with Season 2.

I feel like once the makers realized the show had insane momentum during Season 2, they started adding unnecessary filler arcs without giving viewers any closure. They left us constantly wanting more. Radhi fans wanted to see Radhi and Reena openly together. We wanted Vijay and Reena to finally know the truth and explore their father daughter relationship. We wanted to see how Reena would react to Arjun. And it wasn't just Reena's arc. The same happened with the rest of the OG intern gang as well.

Instead of focusing on those stories, they gave too much importance to unnecessary subplots. They stretched the accident climax over four episodes with endless delays and conversations, only to end the season on a massive cliffhanger with Reena possibly slipping into a coma, Vijay being taken away by the police, and Reena being angry with both Radhi and Arjun. After all that, the anticipation for Season 3 was huge. But instead of capitalizing on that excitement, they delayed the release, barely promoted the season, didn't announce the release date properly, and left fans hanging with that cliffhanger for months.

Coming to Season 3 itself, we return after a time leap only to be greeted with a bucket load of new characters and verbal write offs for so many beloved characters, we've spent over 200 episodes getting attached to. That was honestly so off putting and immediately disconnected me from the show. The writing itself feels all over the place. The story is now spread across three different locations, and introducing so many new characters within the first few episodes was such a poor decision.

Season 2 worked because the makers introduced only a couple of new interns at the beginning. Even when characters like Aruna and Anitha left, they were given proper closure. Vijay, who eventually became one of the most important characters in the show, wasn't even introduced until much later. That's how you gradually expand a cast.

You don't introduce 10+ new characters in a show that's already completed two successful seasons. It makes the show feel like an entirely new series instead of the familiar world we all fell in love with.

Leaving the previous season on such a huge cliffhanger only to restart after a leap without addressing any of it was another questionable choice.

Who took care of Reena while Vijay was in jail?

How did she recover?

Who looked after her?

When was she transferred to Bangalore?

How did Vijay get out of jail?

Why didn't Reena inform Rocky or Ganesh Uncle before leaving?

So many questions, yet barely any answers. Will we ever get answers? Looking at the number of side arcs already established, I honestly doubt they'll have enough time to properly flesh out the main storylines, especially with the absence of so many key characters.

Also, how many new love interests are Reena and Arjun going to get before they finally end up together? It honestly feels like recycled drama at this point.

Some of the new actors also feel very artificial. Kathir, in particular, comes across as very stiff and cringeworthy to me.

There are so many important things that happened during the time skip that are not shown.

How did Reena recover enough to become a doctor again?

When did she join this hospital?

How did she become close enough to Kathir for him to openly flirt with her?

Radhi is in therapy.

Reena has no contact with her RK Hospital friends and has stress-induced seizures.

These are huge developments, yet almost all of them are reduced to a few seconds of screen time. Why rush through all of this within the first four episodes instead of gradually developing each storyline?

This is a personal opinion, but I also don't like Vijay's marriage track or him finding a new romantic partner, especially at this point in the story. We spent an entire season waiting for Vijay and Reena to finally discover the truth and experience that father daughter relationship. Now that it's finally time for it, why introduce another person in between them?

Not every character needs a romantic pairing.

Honestly, Vijay, Reena, and Ganesh Uncle alone would've made for such a unique and wholesome family dynamic. Eventually having Arjun, another lonely soul, become part of that family and all of them living under one roof would've been so much more refreshing than another romance.

Coming to the new characters, there are honestly so many that I can barely keep track of them. Kathir and Madhu feel like obvious temporary obstacles before Reena and Arjun eventually reunite, which makes their scenes hard to invest in. Aradhan feels like Teju Lite. The entire gun scene and her possible backstory already feels overly dramatized. It reminds me of how Kiran was introduced as this intense "angry young man" last season, only for that trait to barely matter later. Even if they do explore her backstory, it already feels far more cinematic than what Heartbeat usually does. Amala and Raghav are okay for now. Nothing particularly interesting yet, but I'm willing to give them some time.

The only new character I genuinely liked is Dr. Sharanya. She seems caring, competent, stands up to Manasa, and actually feels like she belongs in this world. I really hope they don't suddenly turn her into a villain just for shock value.

Finally, the biggest issue...

Reena doesn't feel like Reena. Radhi doesn't feel like Radhi, although she's at least in therapy, so I still have hope she'll gradually return to being the bold, fierce woman we knew her as. Vijay, on the other hand, looks like he's about to be reduced to a basic romantic storyline, and I honestly have very little hope for that.

So now we're left with our main characters not feeling like themselves, most of our favourite supporting characters gone, and an overwhelming number of new characters we barely know or care about.

What a mess.

I'll still tune in for a few more episodes but the excitement and anticipation I had at the end of Season 2 have, unfortunately, completely died down.

❤️ Heartbeat Week | 1 DAY TO GO!! ❤️

🚨 IT'S OFFICIALLY JUST 1 DAY TO GO!! 🚨

https://preview.redd.it/v4h21q3mw3gh1.png?width=387&format=png&auto=webp&s=d31d9f77cbe9982f183b077a261e5c521a4a4f76

Well... this is it. 🥹

For those who watch the episodes at 11:30 PM, today's THE DAY. Either way, we're now less than 12 hours away from Season 3 dropping!

The wait, the anticipation, the endless theories, and all the speculation are finally about to come to an end. In just a few hours, we'll be stepping back into the world of Heartbeat once again. ❤️

And with that, everything we've been missing comes back too new theories to discuss, new story arcs to obsess over, new characters to analyse, and, of course, our beloved watch parties. Our Wednesday/Thursday routine is finally making its return, where we'd all rush here after every episode to celebrate the highs, rant about the lows, and spend the rest of the week overanalysing every little detail until the next episode drops. Honestly, we've missed that just as much as we've missed the show itself. 🥹❤️

It's been a long wait. We've had fewer promos than usual, we've seen a few of our OG cast members leave, and if we're being honest, I think most of us are still a little confused about what Season 3 is actually going to look like.

But despite all of that... we still can't stop ourselves from tuning in. 😅

Maybe it's the characters we've grown attached to. Maybe it's the world they've built over the last 200+ episodes. Maybe it's all the memories we've made discussing every twist, every promo, and every episode together.

Whatever the reason, the show has managed to keep us coming back, and that's something special.

So here's hoping the writers know exactly what they're doing and deliver a season that's worth the wait. 🤞❤️

While we count down these last few hours...

What was the one thing that made you fall in love with Heartbeat?

What made you watch over 200 episodes... and still eagerly wait for more?

Was it a particular character?

A specific storyline?

The hospital setting?

The friendships?

The romance?

Or was there just one moment where you thought...

"Yep, this show is for me." ❤️

Share your story below! Let's celebrate what brought all of us here before Season 3 begins. 🫶

Happy HEARTBEAT DAY,

Heartbeat Week is Here! ❤️ | 3 Days to Go!!

🚨 JUST 3 MORE DAYS TO GO!! 🚨

We've officially entered the 3...2...1 countdown! ❤️

In just 3 more days, we'll finally be back in the Heartbeat world. After months of waiting, speculating, analysing every poster and promo, and surviving the off-season together, we're almost there. 🥹

We'll soon be seeing our favourite characters back on screen, waiting for Wednesday nights again, and counting down to those four episodes every week. It honestly feels surreal that the wait is finally coming to an end.

So before Season 3 officially begins...

How do you think Episode 1 will actually start?

  • A hospital emergency?
  • A flashback?
  • A funny intern gang scene?
  • A time skip?
  • Someone arriving unexpectedly?
  • Or something none of us are expecting?

Drop your predictions below! We'll have to come back to this thread after Episode 1 and see who got the closest. 😄❤️

Happy predicting! ❤️

The AI clips add nothing to these compilations

Sorry, but these AI-generated videos really have to go. They just look cheap and artificial, and honestly they don't add anything to the compilation. If anything, they take away from the emotional impact of the actual scenes.

Why not just post a straightforward compilation of the characters' journey? That's what people are there to watch. The show already has plenty of memorable moments there's no need to pad it with poorly done AI clips that just end up looking distracting.

A Little Heartbeat Challenge for You All!

Hey Heartbeaters!

I was bored today and ended up messing around with Claude AI just for fun. I'm not even remotely a tech person I literally went in blind, clicked random things, and somehow ended up making this little interactive thing.

If you have a few minutes, give it a try and see if you can make it to the end! I'd genuinely love to know what you guys think.

And if there are any actual tech wizards here, let me know what other fun stuff I could try making because I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing... but this was surprisingly fun.

Link: https://claude.ai/public/artifacts/73724da6-acce-4eb6-a8cf-00ad7a4d2083

This isn't anything serious just a random boredom stuff I thought I'd share with you all. Hope you enjoy it!

How Will Reena's Bonds Change in S3?

I was just watching some random Heartbeat clips on YouTube and came across a compilation of Divi and Reena's fun sister banter. It got me thinking about Season 3 and how all these relationships are going to work now that Reena is in Bangalore.

Not just Divi, but what about Rocky, Guna, Naveen, Teju, and Ganesh Uncle (assuming he doesn't move to Bangalore with Vijay and Reena)? Do you think Reena will still stay in touch with all of them?

I'm especially curious about Divi. She's Reena's sister after all. Even if Reena is intentionally keeping her distance from Radhi, do you think she'll still make an effort to stay connected with Divi and Sid? Or will avoiding her mom unintentionally create distance from her half siblings too? And what about Dev? By the end of Season 2, it felt like he and Reena had finally built a really nice bond. Do you think they'll continue talking? Maybe he'll be the bridge that helps Reena stay connected with Divi and Sid.

Now onto my biggest hope... Rocky. 😭❤️ He's genuinely one of the best friends anyone could ask for, and the Rocky Reena friendship is honestly one of my favorite dynamics in the show. Their scenes are always so entertaining, and Rocky's comedy brings so much life to every episode.Part of me is hoping he somehow ends up moving to Bangalore too (I know I'm probably dreaming 😅). I'm just worried that if they're living in different cities for most of the season, we'll barely get any Rocky Reena interactions, and I'd really miss that friendship and comic relief of it all.

And finally, Ganesh Uncle. How do you think he'll react when he finds out Vijay is Reena's biological father? Will he feel possessive or insecure about it? Or will he simply be happy that Reena finally has her father in her life? And if Vijay and Reena asked him to come live with them in Bangalore, do you think he'd actually go?

Overall, I'm really curious how the show will balance all these relationships now that Reena is in a different city. Which bonds do you think will stay just as strong, which ones might change, and which relationships are you most excited (or worried) to see this season?

PS : https://youtube.com/shorts/8K3zE1cn3jI?si=dlLVvlmvM61Ao9sR This was the video that I was watching.

I just found out I've been maladaptive daydreaming my whole life, and now I'm terrified.

I'm 23, and I only recently found out that what I've been doing for as long as I can remember has a name: maladaptive daydreaming.

The problem is... I don't think I can stop.

Even the thought of trying gives me anxiety because, honestly, I don't have much else in my life that brings me comfort or makes me smile. My daydreams have been my escape for years. They've helped me survive loneliness, pain, and trauma. Whenever I'm overwhelmed or feel like crying, I don't process it as me. Instead, I create a story where one of my characters is going through the same thing, and I cry for them instead. That's how I've coped for almost my entire life.

Finding out that this coping mechanism might actually be unhealthy has made me panic. I genuinely can't imagine a life where I'm not constantly in my head. It feels like if I lose this, I lose the only place where I've ever felt okay.

At the same time, I know I want to move forward with my life. I'd like to have a relationship someday, maybe even get married. But how do I do that while hiding such a huge part of who I am? If I tell someone, will they think I'm crazy? Will they understand, or will they see it as a red flag?

I'm scared because I don't know what life looks like without daydreaming, but I'm also scared of spending the rest of my life this way.

Has anyone else here felt this trapped? Were you able to reduce your daydreaming without feeling like you lost yourself? If you've built a healthy relationship while dealing with maladaptive daydreaming, how did you tell your partner about it?

Right now I just feel scared, hopeless, and completely lost. I could really use some advice from people who have actually been through this.

Need Help Understanding the SAP Scenario-Based Assessment

Hi everyone,

I recently attempted the SAP SuccessFactors Learning (THR88) certification in the new scenario-based exam format, and unfortunately, I didn't pass. The passing score is 60%, and I scored 56%.

This was my first-ever SAP certification, and in hindsight, going into a completely new exam format without knowing what to expect probably wasn't the best idea.

What surprised me the most is that I actually felt confident while taking the exam. I have a few months of hands-on experience working in SuccessFactors Learning (LMS), and I spent a lot of time studying. I focused on understanding the concepts instead of memorizing answers, and during the exam, I genuinely felt my responses made sense.

That's why failing came as such a shock.

The biggest problem is that I have no idea what went wrong, so I'm struggling to figure out what I should improve before my next attempt.

I'm wondering things like:

  • Were my answers too long or too short?
  • Should the responses be very concise and keyword-focused, or more detailed?
  • Is the AI looking for specific terminology?
  • Does sentence structure or grammar matter a lot?
  • Is it enough to explain the concept, or do you have to explicitly mention every relevant configuration step and keyword?

If you've passed the new scenario-based SAP certification, especially SuccessFactors Learning (THR88), I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

  • How did you approach the scenario questions?
  • What kind of answers did you write?
  • Did you keep them short and to the point, or did you elaborate?
  • Any tips on how the AI evaluates responses?

I still have 2 attempts left, and I really want to make them count. I've invested a lot of time into preparing for this certification, so any advice would mean a lot.

I can also recall a few of the scenario questions from the exam (without violating SAP's exam policies), and I'd love to discuss the concepts behind them with someone who's already passed.

Thanks in advance! Any guidance is greatly appreciated. 🙏

How Soon Is Sooner? 😭

Soon, soon" ah? 😭 But how soon is "soon" exactly? That's what is driving me crazy. It's not even the wait anymore it's waiting without a date to look forward to. At least give us an official announcement so we know whether we're waiting for a few months or another year. The uncertainty is way more frustrating than the actual delay.

Also, guys, rate your expectations for Season 3 out of 10 and tell me why ?
