Recently, i made a Playlist on Spotify consisting of the best (or my favorite) of Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien Covenant, Alien Romulus, Alien Earth & Alien Isolation. For most of them (Alien, Alien 3, Resurrection, Isolation) i had to port them from physical files as they're not on Spotify unfortunately. But it does mean i get the extended soundtracks!

Yesterday i drove down country lanes in the dark with this soundtrack on in my car and omg, the vibes were perfect. When i was younger, i would always be in someone else's car going down country lanes in the dark dreaming that one day I'd get my turn to do it, but with my own control over the music. The alien soundtracks are so perfect for this.

Does anybody else have a situation like this?

So for instance, watching or playing something for the first time and really digging the soundtrack. So you search the composer, then head straight to YouTube/Spotify etc to check the soundtrack out, have a listen and then say "yep, this is going straight into my playlist?"

Mine was Alien Earth. I must admit, half of why i enjoyed it so much was because the soundtrack was so reminiscent of the movies, whilst also giving it that distinct personality of its own. The story admittedly let me down somewhat & for my viewing experience, the soundtrack did carry it.
