Hate how fun this was, but it was soooo fun
Finally made a trade bro team!
In my many runs of these games, I rarely allow myself to use the stage 1 versions, cuz I’d be yearning for the stage 2 for it to never come. Didn’t have or want to create a means to trade for them.
On the switch now, I said F it and grabbed both FR & LG to make it happen. Worth it, and going for full national dex.
Gengar and Alakazam are obvious MVPs. Elemental punches for Alakazam, and I gave Gengar Thunderbolt.
really loved Golem… how come I never knew about Defense Curl + Rollout ?!? So fun! Swept most of Lance on his own.
Farfetchd and Blastoise rounded out the HM necessities. And stick is a fun gamble too! Chuckled at every unexpected OHKO, but elite 4 he only had 1 kill and died after that 🤣
