~93 hours of shiny hunting over 5 months. somewhere along the way, i graduated, moved to a different country, and started working. made me realize how much i appreciate pokemon being a constant through all the changes.
Had my switch 2 stolen a few weeks ago & got it back a few days ago & my user was deleted so I lost all my shinies… FireRed Shiny Only was @ 4/6 & the 1st Squirtle took 25,775 SRs
So im planning to only use 1 pokemon the entire playthrough . And catch as many as I can and use some for slaves of course. Just wondering what's the best moveset for a Modest Venasaur ?

After like 8k SRs for a shiny (guesstimate, I stopped counting after 2.3k) I pulled this bad boy!!! AND it’s a hasty nature!!!! I can’t wait to actually play the game now 😭 Good thing I can lose to Blue 1 so I don’t have to take a mandatory defense EV, because I want to use him in the Battle Tower when Emerald comes to the Switch
With the mystery gift feature working over local wireless, we’ve managed to enable sending custom events to an unmodded Switch 1/2 firered / Leafgreen!
Since Celebi seems locked to just the HOME reward, this may be the only way to get a celebi in the games themselves. This can also be extended eventually to make custom events, unlockables, Pokemon transfers, and a whole lot more!
New save starting tonight, I’ve restarted countless times over the years without getting into Kanto, so I’m planning this to be a VERY long term save. Potentially a forever save.
This is team I’m planning for Johto, but I’d maybe like to switch it up slightly in Kanto. Similar to how the Elite 4 teams change for the rematches.
I’d maybe like to add Electivire for Ampharos. I’m very much a fan of power and speed in play through, with maybe one bulky type (Slowking)

Played this game a million times, been trying to think of something different.
I had 2 ideas: a team of fully evolved Pokémon; or a team of only 3-stage evolutions. I would count things like Scyther, Jynx, and Magmar, since you can’t have their pre-evolutions/evolutions until post game. What sounds more interesting?

Currently working on a complete generation 3 dex. I'm about to finish fire red and I'll start hoenn when those games come out.
Recently Pokemon announced that Celebi would be a pokemon home reward for completing the kanto dex, but home is only transferable one way.
Will Celebi ever be obtainable in a generation 3 game? It's the only pokemon I believe would be missing (other than potentially jirachi)
Even if a bit under leveled I decided to try anyway. After a first defeat against Lorelei, I made it through the Pokemon League!
Decided to do mono-type runs to make the game challenging. Started with Grass. This was challenging and fun.
Seriously, why the hell does Vine Whip has only 10 PP.
Blaine, Lance and the last 2 battles with Rival were the biggest challenges in this playthrough. Needed more grinding than usual due to Grass being a poor attacking type in FRLG and Normal being the main coverage option for these Mons.

I thought of this once I heard Bank was shutting down and how Spinda would be impossible to register in the Home Pokédex. There is one way that Spinda will be able to go into Home. If you set up Arbitrary Code Execution, or ACE, you can cause the game to generate an encounter with any Pokémon you want, including Spinda. So, do you think a Spinda caught this way can be accepted by Home?
