Ivysaurs yellow flower is gorgeous, while pizza back Venasaur comes out
Dragonair is bright and vibrant then the zombie skin lizard pops out

I still can’t believe it, I play the Nintendo Switch Version and 5 days after I got my first shiny (caterpie) I found this beauty while I was looking for paras and parasect to farm mushrooms😭 now it’s 2 ✨ (charmander I won’t forgive you)

Just a playthrough on the switch, I really liked this team.
Magneton was a goat. Took out lance solo. Tangela and farfetch were just kind of cheerleaders.
Venomoth was hardier than I thought. And marowak was disappointing.
Kingler was a hidden gem.
Trying to do kind of an Ash Ketchum run. I have both games and two consoles so I obtained all 3 starters myself
I didn't even know you could catch Pikachu at the early start of the game viridian Forest or whatever but I ended up catching him while searching for a Caterpie to turn into a Butterfree and then my second time going through the forest I caught a second Pikachu.
Squirtle was my starter and then after self trading Charmander and Bulbasaur I realized since they are traded they won't obey me fully until I have the first two gyms completed so right now I have them in my party at least until they hit level 30 and I will have to replace them if I don't have the third badge by then.
Other than the three starters and Pikachu I caught a wild Geodude and that got me through Mount Moon being able to pretty much one shot every Zubat I encountered using rock throw, every time I came across a wild Geodude I would just switch to my Squirtle & 1 shot it with watergun.
The first time I entered Diglett tunnel I captured a level 29 dugtrio so that's currently my highest level pokémon but it's not in my party
I left my level 5 Magikarp at the daycare until level 19 then removed it and put it as my first Pokemon sent out until it reached level 20 and evolved into Gyarados, I plan on making it a member of my party after I stop fighting water types so frequently after the SS Anne
Currently my 5th and 6th pokémon in my party are Mankey and Drowzee so I can have an option for fighting and psychic type.
Just trying to find any Pokemon whatsoever I could leave at the daycare just to get a few that are leveling up on the back burner without me having to swap level them.
Outside of the above named pokémon I have a Butterfree that is like level 14 that was in my party for a while I have a Pidgey that is level 14 that I deposited just while I cruise the SS Annie but I plan on bringing it back as my flying type.
I have a Nidoran level 15 one level away from evolving so I know I don't want to put that in the daycare because it won't evolve like it should.
I was thinking maybe just throwing a Rattata into the daycare and let it reach level 20 on its own or something like that? Just a fodder Pokemon? Any recommendations?

The idea of clefable just being a tm monster sounds a bit stupid imo? See rest of team. The others are non negotiable

I’ve come across Pokémon I’ve never heard of in the Sevii Islands (I’m only familiar with old school Pokémon including mew and mewtwo).
I’m using a hacked rom on a delta emulator app, btw. None of these guys show up in my Pokédex.

Are any of these guys good? The turtle seemed cool. I was going to take on the elite four with the classic old-school team of Raichu, Blastoise, Charizard, Pidgeot, Alazkazam, and Machamp (or Golem). Should I reconsider the others instead?
I see in Google after you beat the elite 4 you get an event ticket and then says you can get Ho-Oh , is that event looked or you can get it anytime? (Switch)
Bulbasaur took the longest with roughly 3 months of resets
The rest were along the way..I did see a pidgey at one point but whirlwind got me.
I have a shiny golem but wanted Gengar instead..
Dratini and Abra were from tickets, Gengar from the tower
Charizard was within 30 hours, squirtle within 2 weeks, then bulbasaur made me question my sanity lol for 3ish months

After hours and hours of searching this week, encountering less than 1.5 Dragonairs per hour, and helplessly watching so many flee on the first turn...
I saw a post this morning by someone who got the Dragon Fang on their first catch. I thought to myself, "This mfer....." and picked up my Switch. Almost immediately encountered a Dragonair, threw out a couple baits, and caught it with the first ball.
Never give up!
After a miserable 50+ catches before getting the Lucky Egg (and a failed Shiny Venomoth) I was ready to just catch the first Dragonair I saw and call it quits there - but Arceus blessed me with that 5% Dragon Fang and I can leave the Safari Zone behind me with nothing missed out on 💪
I noticed Dragonair was catch 70 in my Dex so I thought I'd check in with Oak to see what he said - like I hadn't just been fishing for hours to be able to catch this thing 😒
