Does anyone else recreate Shadow Slave in other games?

I’ve (attempted) to start playing Age of Wonders 4 and somehow ended up making a Shadow Slave-inspired faction based on the Human Domain. I haven't started the game yet because character creation is the hardest part of any game, but the idea was to recreate the Awakened humanity under the banner of Nephis.

For the Heroes, you can see I've added 8 of the cast from Shadow Slave with fitting titles, classes and biographies. No, I'm sadly not that poetic - I had help writing those.

Does anyone else do this kind of thing with Shadow Slave? Whether its recreating characters, factions, citadels, clans or Domains in other games?

Trying to make it work in games is difficult, but fun.
