Which mod loader is best for Crossworlds?

I just bought the game on steam specifically for the mods and when I went to the Game Banana page it shows two mod loaders to use, Bluestar and CrossPatch

Is there any difference between the two? Does it matter which one I download? And if so which one should I use?

Thanks in advance

Is Tangle any good?

In terms of like competitive viability, is Tangle a good character? I don't see her used all that often and it's a shame cuz I love her as a character

I know Acceleration type characters are bad but is that the main reason?
