[Concept] What if Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds had a "Knockout" Mode? (4-Team Races, Dynamic OSTs & 6-Lap Races)

I put together a concept showcase for a custom mode pitch called CrossWorld Knockout! The goal was to visualize what deeper match rulesets, expanded team setups, and dynamic audio shifts could look like in action.

Here is a breakdown of what's featured in the UI mockups and concept edits:

  • 👥 Custom UI & Quadruple Teams: Menu toggles supporting 4-team layouts (4x4x4x4 / 3x3x3x3 Ring & Tap options) for higher-stakes team play.
  • ⚙️ Deep Ruleset Customization: Adjustable lap counts, custom track sequence rotations, and portal rules.
  • 🎵 Dynamic Time Trial OSTs in Frenzy: CrossWorlds has incredible Final Lap tracks locked exclusively to Time Trial. I integrated them into the live Frenzy state so those soundtracks get the spotlight they deserve during high-intensity moments.
  • 🌀 Multi-Lap Dimensional Warping: Seamless track transitions through warp portals across multi-lap races.

Two times before the the festival ends.

Which mod loader is best for Crossworlds?

I just bought the game on steam specifically for the mods and when I went to the Game Banana page it shows two mod loaders to use, Bluestar and CrossPatch

Is there any difference between the two? Does it matter which one I download? And if so which one should I use?

What would be some “Canon” Gadget loadouts for the cast?

I’m currently working on a YT video about pitching “canon” loadouts for each character in SRC, and need as many ideas as possible!

When I say “canon”, I mean gadget loadouts you’d believably see from each character. Not whatever is most viable or optimal unless it fits their personalities.
E.g. I’ve got a pair of Ring focused builds for Vector and Rouge, and a pair of Attack-item based builds for Eggman and Omega.
