Trial Recommendations *Forensic Psychology*

Hello!

I’m a psychologist and have been following the Clancy trial, particularly the testimony from the forensic psychologists and psychiatrists.

I’m looking for recommendations for specific trials in which forensic psychologists and/or forensic psychiatrists played a significant role. I’m especially interested in cases where their testimony is readily available through video footage or transcripts and/or where the psychological or psychiatric evaluations conducted during the case are publicly available.

I’m open to cases from any time period, although I realize more recent or ongoing trials may be more likely to have easily accessible trial footage.

What specific trials would you recommend following or going back and watching? I’m particularly interested in cases where mental illness, competency, criminal responsibility, or the defendant’s mental state played a significant role.

I appreciate any recommendations!
