Hello all, I have a 2005 CS6A Mitsubishi Lancer. I was just wanting to confirm if I want to put the Evo style flat trunk I'd have to get the matching bumper as well from the corresponding year which would be 2005. I was wondering if anything else would need to be done to swap it out? I understand some will find it cringe but I'm not planning on changing the front I just like the look of the rear and won't run fake badges or anything like that. Otherwise are there any companies that have produced a boot and bumper combo or is my only option/choice to weld it closed like the last two photos? Any questions or advice is appreciated. Thank you

Hello everyone, I have recently acquired a lancer cedia sedan and want to do one of the most common things, convert it into an evo. Specifically the one featured in 2 fast 2 furious. When I say this I only want the exterior cosmetics and do not care for the drivetrain. Yes I know people will be able to tell this isn't an evo, yes I know this is a silly thing to do, yes I know I should just buy the evo instead. Due to many circumstances I cannot easily buy an evo where I am but I do acknowledge this is a silly and Muppet thing to do anyway. I can get unrepairable write off parts no worries so for any body panels or fittings that is not an issue. I'm ready for any ridicule and humiliation so give it to me in spades. But if anyone has anything that may be helpful, whether it's forums, videos or anything helpful that would be genuinely greatly appreciated. I come from a Corolla area where I justify my AE71 basically being an AE86 whenever I can. I am new to the lancer community and Mitsubishi in general so if you should want to point be to another community/elsewhere please do. I have seen the version where someone has decided to keep the cedia front end. I don't want to do that but I do find it bad I kinda like it as well. Anyway any advice is appreciated.
