has anyone seen a rear body kit that supports single exhausts, not dual?

I am looking for a body kit that has only 1 cutout for a single exhaust pipe. but when i search for it the only results that come up are all for the dual exhaust. i dont want those because it makes it look like one exhaust is missing. has anyone seen or purchased body kits that are made for the one pipe and not two?!? its for a 2008 Lancer.

So as state in a post a couple of you saw, swaying, unaligned, pothole, yada yada. Saw a few of you suggest the electric power steering rack, did some digging to price out a new one and well…. 600$ is the cheapest for a remanufactured and though I can do that doesn’t necessarily mean I want to. From what I’ve gathered the ES gets the shorter end of the stick for the trims so important components like that are not made now, anyways to be expected I guess.

Now if I have to I will however I did notice that 3rd party manufacturers do produce the belt driven power steering rack still, so my question is what all would I need for that conversion?? I’m already in the process of converting the drums to discs in the rear by swapping the trailing arms.

Need help with a 2017 lancer

2017 base model lancer has been sitting in the driveway for a few months, now it wont unlock at all, tried physical key but the only keyhole is in the driver's side and the lock system is messed up so wont open. I assume the battery is dead since there isnt a blinking security light inside the car. Any advice as to how I can open the hood or charge the battery from outside since the car wont unlock?

Coolant & oil mixing🥲

08 lancer 4a91 engine, 390,000km driven. Bought used at 250,000km 3 years ago. Consistent oil changes every 5-7k km. Finally encountered my first engine problem. Had the radiator tested to see if that was the issue and it was fine so most likely blown head gasket. What do you think I should do from here? The mechanic has yet to open it up and see if it’s visibly damaged but he recommended an engine change to avoid going down the rabbit hole of constant fixes to come with this engine. Is that the best course of action from your experience with these cars? Just some additional info, the engine did not run hot or overheat before noticing it, the car ran fine and had no issues with power. As far as how I used to drive it, did some consistent 180km drives daily/ every other day for the first year and a half and the remaining time was 30km drives daily. Did some spirited driving with it, reaching speeds of 140-160km/hr consistently once I’m on the highway. And driven in low gear at high rpms for smaller roads. Would replacing the engine with a more powerful one once available be a good option? for example going for a 2000cc as opposed to the current 1500cc? Or should saving the current engine be the focus.

Miglioramenti lancer

Ciao amici secondo voi conviene cambiare il condotto di aspirazione normale (tipo a destra)

Con quello a sinistra della ralli art? Secondo me senza quella strozzatura suonerà meglio e pescherà più aria.

Qualcuno ne vende uno usato?

Check engine 😔

Hello,
I would like to ask something. I replaced the engine of my Mitsubishi Lancer GT. As far as I know, the car originally had a 2.0L 4B11 engine, and this is also written on the vehicle registration.
I replaced it with another 4B11 engine, but after that the check engine light appeared. I scanned it with an OBD-II device and got the error codes P0340 and P0341.
The person who scanned it told me that the replacement engine is not the same as the original one. I went back to the mechanic and he told me that the car originally had a 2.4L engine and that it differs from the 2.0L version in the engine wiring harness.
I also noticed that there are two connectors that were left unplugged, and he said that this is because of the difference between the 2.0L and 2.4L wiring harnesses.
Could you please tell me if this information is correct or not?
Or does the wiring harness not actually differ, and the mechanic may be mistaken?

2017 Lancer EGR Valve

Pulled up a P0401 Code on my 2017 lancer so i figured best way to start would be cleaning the EGR valve so im just wondering where the best place to attack it is?
been seeing mixed reviews from going at it form the top of the engine bay or underneath

I have a problem with my 2008 Lancer. This is the second time I’ve had an issue with my fuel pump. There are masses inside the pump that end up affecting the electrical connection. I replaced it, but it keeps happening. What should I do to prevent masses in the fuel pump?
