Go get your official state mushroom of Oregon: there’s lots in the Tillamook State Forest rn. Elsewhere in evergreen stands too, particularly on north-facing slopes. Here’s a few from Saturday:

PNW USA - between Mt Adams, St Helens & Rainier

My buddy & I followed this nice horseshoe-shaped ridge in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. ~35miles over 2 days and we didn’t see another hiker - just a few guys on dirt bikes.

Incredible how much empty terrain & open trail there is in the PNW
