I used ActiveTrack to take my DJI Mini 4 Pro paddle boarding today. I know it's a risk taking it out over the water, but would like to figure out why this happened to prevent a reoccurrence. All was well until I bent down to retrieve the controller, then it dove at me. After trying to take my head off, it backed up rapidly, dangerously close to the water before stabilizing. Ideas?

Also question to the community should I consider upgrading to mini 5 pro?

I shoot a lot of sphere panoramas with my Mini 2, and the in-app result never satisfied me: low resolution and no way to use the DNG files. Stitching properly meant going home to a PC.

So I built zenpano ( sebip.github.io/zenpano/ ). You point it at the folder with the panorama shots and it gives you a full-resolution 360° panorama, with the sky cap closed, ready to share.

What it does:

stitches from the JPGs or from the DNGs (more detail in shadows and highlights)

runs on Android and on Windows, fully offline

on my phone a panorama from DNG takes about a minute and a half

closes the hole at the top of the sky

lets you fix a bad seam locally by picking a different source frame

has a basic editor (exposure, shadows, highlights, colour)

Tested on Mini 2, Mini 3 Pro, Mini 4 Pro and Mavic Air. If you fly something else and want to try it, I’d be glad to see how your set comes out.

The trial is not time-limited; it adds watermarks to the output.

Managed sub second RTMP streaming to a secure private server so clients can just enter a URL to watch my footage without me plugging into a capture card etc or using expensive streaming services.

I've also ordered a raspberry pi that will detect any incoming streams and record them automatically so all flights are recorded in HD in case I miss anything. I work in public safety so something may happen in the background I've not noticed because I'm looking at something else. This eliminates the risk of loosing footage. A 10hr stream is only about 35GB of data. It will also burn in a timestamp for easy footage review.

I'm not savvy with coding and Google Gemini did most of the heavy lifting.

Also the drone was not in flight it was just in the garden for testing before the drone police say it's not in VLOS.....

Took a bunch of Master Shots. But instead of using the DJI templates, I learned a few things about DaVinci, and found some music. The drone did really well in the high breeze. My first full edit with shots and music all put together. Pick it apart. What could I do better? What is good? Shot using a DJI Mini 5 Pro. [OC]

DJI Mini 4 Pro. My first ever drone and had it for a week. Shortly after takeoff I collided with a limb 3 meters up and the aircraft crashed into the ground. I submitted a DJI Service Request but have no clue what to expect.
