Gimbal shake on DJI Mini SE

Hi.

Today i wanted a good flight with my Mini SE but i saw the gimbal was shakin’… You can see it on the video (sorry for a long video).

I dont really know whats happening (ignore the strong wind warning.. it is doing it even when it is a no wind day.), but this is like a 10th time and restarting always helped but not now😕.

This is maybe self made error but the drone has 4 years and 70km distance flown.

Thanks everybody.

Would it pay to get 2 DJI drones?

I’m a first time drone user. Test flying some tomorrow and buying my own next week. Do you think it’ll pay for me to get two DJI drones? I’ll most likely be using it for business this year regularly for a commercial company I work for.

With all the DJI stuff being limited in the U.S., I was considering the Air 3S and/or the Mini 4 Pro since both have been around for a bit now.

I’m pretty set with getting the 3S but I also want the Mini 4 Pro lol

Do you guys think 2 drones is a silly investment or worth in case something happens to one?

Dji blacklsit drones?

Hi guys i'm new to the dji world and i'm about to buy a mini 4 pro from a guy that is selling new one at low price, it is possible that it's a blacklisted drone that he had in fraud ways? Did Dji blacklist a drone that was reported "misisng"?

Three options (Lito X1, Mini 4k or mini 3)

For my first drone and flying primarily in urban areas. All prices in CAD.

Should I buy a dji mini 4k for $260 with 2 batteries from Costco (easy returns if I find I need more), a mini 3 with dji rc (built in colour screen) for $409, a lito 1 for $419, or a lito x1 for $519. I have no sd card so I would have to buy one.

Air 3s or Mini 5 pro or wait for air 4 (all combos with rc2)

I’m a 17 year old trying to get more in depth with aerial photography, I have used many camera and have flown fpv and Dji mavic one but I’m trying to upgrade and since I’m in Canada drone prices are high due to conversion rate and for sure I’d get the mavic 4 if I had a job but it’s like impossible to get one where I live without experience!

First Light hits different with 5 am in the morning. Filmed in HLG color graded in Davinci Resolve.

Captured on a mini pro 5 filmed in HLG and color graded in Davinci Resolve Studio 21.

The final footage was denoised with Neat Video. The Music was written by myself in Staffpad and finalized in Reaper.

Accidentally walked into this DJI place in Seoul today

Was walking around Garosu-gil in Sinsa, Korea earlier today and ended up noticing a DJI store I hadn’t seen before.

Didn’t really plan to go in, but there were quite a few people around the entrance so I got curious for a minute.

The inside was bigger than I expected and they had most of the camera/drone stuff on display.

I also noticed there’s a Hasselblad area upstairs, which honestly caught me off guard a bit.

Not sure if it’s new or if I somehow just never noticed it before.

Anyway, kind of a random find while wandering around Seoul, Korea today

Any of you interested in home made basket droppers?

I made this attachment for the startrc dropper mechanism on my mini 4 pro back in February out of simple materials found in a random stuff drawer.

Out of pure boredom and a thirst to build something after a job layoff, decided to glue some wood sticks together, used fishing line and hot glue to create a swivel that nudges the object slightly to the front upon release so that the object can be recorded during its descent.

I cant for the life of me think of a situation where this payload capacity and the dropper on this specific drone would be feasible due to the low powered motors being easily overencumbered, hence why I have only dropped a plushy mouse from it.

O4+ is absolutely insane!

Ok so if what the Avata 360 can do is demonstrating range- and penetration-wise what we can expect from an O4+ Air-Unit for Custom Drones in the future as well, then this might be the moment even Analog-Enthusiasts have to consider switching.

Literally the only thing keeping me from flying it in an 5-10km Radius around my position with several trees in the way and a clear image, is it's low top-speed and battery life. This thing eats forests and concrete for freaking breakfast.

In spaces where I'm down in single digits on my O4 Pro the Avata 360 doesn't even shrug. Yesterday I literally flew through a small valley surrounded by nothing but trees and a massive concrete bridge with a tiny metal tunnel and this thing went through like it was nothing and went on, like there wasn't the concrete equivalent of a 3-5 houses between us. Check it out yourself:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bk3vMKQ8OI8

I'm still salty DJI just removed the freaking Manual Mode on the Avata360 cause damn would this baby soar with over 90 km/h and this signal-penetration, but still, if this is what the future looks like while still staying completely compatible with the current O4-Goggles like here, then it's a bright one.

I’m READY. LOL

BATTERIES
WELL IF THE Avata 2 dosent get bricked here in the US and the mini 4 pro drone back I’m ready. I got 3 more mini 4 pro batteries coming with charger. Everything is DJi original. I heard that later on especially in the US we might get film ware that does not work with other manufacturers batteries. So I’ve ordered only dji. Got 12 of each. I’m thinking about buying a whoop drone. As a semi beginner in gast drones. What do you all recommend and will any of them work with the goggles3 or goggles n3. I wanna purchase one already built as I’m not up to building one myself. Not yet anyway. Also I don’t want the best. I’m sure I’m gonna crash it. But I’ll be in a huge 500+ acre field with waste high tall grass. Maybe it’ll survive. I’ve practice a good bit on sim and with my nephews drones. I will admit I’ve had to pay for 4 ALTEADY. Bad crashes. One I flew to the wizard in fairy land. We still have no idea where it crashed. But I can hold altitude now and just do some basic flying around and bring it back for a semi soft bouncy landing. I need a tough but not a bank breaker fpv drone and it doesn’t have to run 100 mph 65/85 fast enough for me. Any recommendations and whete to buy it or who to buy it from. Someone I can trust as I’m new to this. Thank you for any help

My Mini 4k stopped working after 4 flights

Hi everyone, i recently regained my addictions to drones and decided to buy a mini 4k brand new

I got my drone the 24th of April, did a few test flights to feel how the drone is (it was super nice as i am use to cheap drones and this was my first "premium" drone)

On the 25th, i was on my way to the beach to get a few shots, i had encountered a long line of traffic on my way to the beach and i decided to use the drone to see what was happening. I used RTH and it came right back to me and i powered off as usual. I went about 5-10 to the beach. When i arrived at beach the drone refused to connect to the controller and it refuses to enter manual pairing. After hours with customer support it still doesn't work.

Has anyone else encountered this issue and if you did, how did you fix it? I just refuse to believe that my brand new drones that has 44mins of flight tike died on me

Gimble overload and consistent failed calibrations

So I picked up what I think is a good deal on a flip and I'm pretty excited about it. However, I'm getting consistent gimbal overload errors and recalibration also fails.

I've blown it out and checked for in the obvious debris, but everything seems to be in decent order.

This is my first drone, so I'm learning on the fly. The one thing that stood out to me is odd is the way the gimbal moves.

As seen in the video, when powered off, The gimbal will rotate counterclockwise just fine and stay in whatever position I leave it in. But when I rotate it clockwise it's as if there is tension and it pulls it back to center.

When flying the camera doesn't quite seem level and does seem to have a tilt to it.

I can see the ribbon wiring when I look on the bottom of the gimbal and camera. It does look like the ribbon is being pulled when it's rotating clockwise and that tension is what pulls it back to center.

Can anybody tell me if that's normal or what I should look into to fix it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Mountain sunrise from the rail line. Avata360

Launched my Avata360 from the plateau just after sunrise and kept it around 30 m AGL along an empty fenced rail stretch. The cypress rows somehow lined up with the snow ridge, so I just held the line and reframed the 360 footage to lock the peak center. At about 2,400 m takeoff the battery vanished quicker than expected but the Avata360 handled the thin air without drama
