I built a Mac app that lets you read PDFs without moving your eyes and faster too

When you read, your eyes jump 3–4 times a second, and about 10–15% of those jumps go backwards to re-check something. ReadFaster removes that: open any PDF, click a word, press space, and the words come to you one at a time in the same spot, with a red letter where your eye naturally lands.

The part I spent the most time on: press space and the real lines around the word appear, so you never lose the thread.

It works offline, with no account, for $4.99 one time.

I have a few promo codes. Comment if you'd like to try it, and I'll DM you one.

Could this replace the speedometer app you currently use?

Most GPS speedometer apps stop at a big number. I wanted one that could also show how a trip actually unfolded.

https://apps.apple.com/au/app/pro-gps-speedometer-hud/id6762169611

After a big update, my app Pro GPS: Speedometer & HUD can now show your route painted by speed, trip insights, mileage logs, live navigation data, aviation-style instruments, and a windshield mode for a clearer heads-up display.

It’s built for people who want a clean speed readout in the moment and useful trip data afterward. No ads, no account, and no subscription.

I made this independently and would love honest feedback: which feature would you use most—and what have other speedometer apps failed to get right?

Overweight Carry-On Luggage

Flying out of Sydney (SYD) to Banglore(BLR) via Bangkok on Thai Airways, with a camera backpack and a small personal item bag.

Combined weight is around 10kg due to heavy laptop(MB pro 16inch), a 200-600mm lens, and drone batteries (none of which can be checked safely/legally). Thai Airways has a strict 7kg combined limit.

How strictly are they checking or weighing carry-ons, I am willing to buy extra weight limit, but they do not sell extra limit on carry-on luggage. What should I do ? maybe temporarily put some items in my cargo pants?

O4 Pro VS GoPro/DjiAction

I am not using gopro on my quads these days unless i want the motor sound, I am very much satisfied with the Camera quality(specially dlogm) of O4
The flight time improved a lot, that slight jump is quality maybe not worth the extra weight at this point.
Anyone who still uses gopro with o4 and why are you not switching to o4 only.
