I am 28M, software engineer in Hyderabad. My B2 visa was rejected today at Hyderabad Consulate.

These were the questions asked

VO: Passport

Me: Handed over the passport

VO: Harm questions

Me: No harm

VO: Why are u travelling to the US

Me: My wife has been invited by her organisation to attend a conference in vegas. I plan to join her after the conference for tourism.

VO: When and where did u visit last outside India

Me: Singapore last month

VO: Where else have u visited

Me: Maldives and Thailand

VO: When did u get married

Me: Nov 2025

VO: Who is going to sponsor your trip

Me: I will sponsor my trip

VO: Handed over the 214b, visa rejected

Can anyone tell be what can be the reason for the rejection?
