Rising sophomore doing on-site chats at large PE firm? How do I approach this?

I’m going to NYC later this summer to do in person chats at the office with a couple people at the firm. I’m a rising sophomore in college recruiting IB in the fall, but this is a PE firm (think KKR, Apollo, Carlyle etc) that usually takes people after 2 years in banking. Does anyone have any advice for approaching these chats? Obviously I just want to learn a lot from these people but like idk I’m scared

I’m a rising sophomore at Northwestern and I’m planning on recruiting for IB in the fall. I don’t think I’m going to have an internship this summer and will probably just end up working as a waitress.

Is this bad for recruiting? Does a finance related internship matter a lot? Bc I have no finance experience on my resume.
