997 Turbo Suspension Help
Hi Folks - I have a 997.1 turbo cabriolet with stock wheels. When I purchased the car, it was lowered on K&W springs and the ride quality was atrocious in addition to regular scraping. This car is intended to be a comfortable daily driver and useable on challenging Los Angeles road conditions.
Based on feedback online, I installed the Bilstein b16 + the DSC module. The shop installed the parts. raised it to its highest setting and added spacers. Unfortunately, the ride quality is still way too harsh for daily use.
I spoke with DSC and we realized the suspension installed is the B16 PSS10 mechanical system, whereas I should have installed the B16 damptronic which is electronic and connects to the DSC.
I am now getting the system replaced with the B16 damptronic, but before I do so I wanted feedback on if this would be a significant difference / this is the right solution for daily use. A comfortable ride quality is significantly more important to me than canyon carving abilities for this car as I use it daily as my commuter.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
