My BESCOM bill has suddenly gone up quite a bit, even though I don’t think my electricity usage has changed much.

Has anyone else in Bengaluru noticed the same thing recently? Did BESCOM increase the rates, change the billing method, or is there some issue with the meter readings?

I’m wondering if there is some incorrect billing going on. Please share if your bill has also suddenly increased.
