Really Struggling on AUD Becker simulations

Hi, so right now I'm halfway through A3 on Becker. (So we've learned about audit reports, audit planning, and we are JUST starting learning about audit evidence).

There hasn't been many simulations on Becker to this point - they've mostly been MCQs, but everytime one comes up, I really struggle with it. I'm not sure if it's because I don't understand what procedures to do yet (as it hasn't explicitly been covered) or I'm just not picking up concepts as quick as I should be. For context, I do pretty well on the MCQs, usually around 80% for every module. It's just most of the sims I'm getting like 30%, and it's discouraging me quite a bit as I'm trying to move through AUD quicker than I did for FAR.

But not all of the sims I bomb revolve around audit procedures per se, but sometimes it's things like testing the reasonability of management's estimates, which I'm pretty sure I should be better at right now.

I'm wondering if this is normal, and I just keep moving throughout the modules as if I weren't bombing the SIMs, like if this is just how AUD feels until it clicks, or if I should slow down and take some time understanding what auditor's will do under certain conditions and when. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Note: I know that Michelle Moshe keeps saying "It will get easier the further you get through the material" but I'm not sure if the extent of my struggles is the typical AUD process. (Or maybe I just have a hard time learning that way lol)

Which AUD mnemonics actually matter?

Hi so I recently passed FAR with a 90, and now I’m onto studying AUD. I’m studying with Becker, and they give A LOT of mnemonics in the lectures. The thing is, I don’t want to spend time to study a mnemonic that doesn’t matter, or is remembered likely just by common sense.
For reference, the only mnemonics I found useful in FAR were PUFI, and CAR IN BIG. Everything else seemed pretty trivial. I don’t know if I could even recite one other mnemonic than those two, and again, I got a 90 on my first try.
So if anyone can point out the important ones in AUD ahead of time for me, you know, ones to look for, that would be very much appreciated.
