Tiredness help

So essentially I remember when I tried carnivore some time ago (only for about a week) and I can’t lie, one of the main benefits I noticed was I felt so full, and food wasn’t an issue. Compared to now, where when I switched back to eating carbs and sugars and multiple meals throughout the day etc, all I can think about is food, and I am STARVING. All the time.

However, I switched back to carbs due to one major reason when I was on carnivore and it wasn’t really because I wanted to. It was energy. As soon as I stopped eating carbs my energy plummeted, like bad, I felt like I hadn’t slept all the time in terms of energy levels (although I did), and I couldn’t understand why. Energy to me is really important, as I train 7 days a week incl bjj and im active everyday.

I ate well, just high fat red meat etc and about 6 eggs a day, cooking in ghee etc, ate till I was full. My question is what was wrong? I want to get back into carnivore because my current way of eating is no way sustainable, and I felt sharper and more satiated on carnivore, but the energy was the only factor making me quit.

Any help I’d appreciate

Beginner help

So for context I’m a student and trying to budget reasonably but to keep a long story short, I finally decided to try carnivore after some time of hearing about it and thought what do I have to lose. Anyway I’m only a couple days in but I thought why not ask people that are a lot more experienced than me to see if I’m doing things right.

I was wondering a lot of things like, how do I know I’m eating enough fat? How much salt do I actually need? is eating chicken okay on carnivore (e.g thighs with the skin)? is there any major do’s and donts that are really important?

As for my planned diet (feedback on this would be really appreciated) currently I’ve decided to eat ground beef (500g 25% fat) for roughly 4 days out of the week, along with chicken thighs with the skin twice and once a week I have some pork belly as I know it’s quite fat. Important to note alongside those meals I have 6-8 eggs, and I’m doing omad.

Thanks!
