Cybersecurity common sense

We've now gotten at least 3 threads on the same phishing email...and all the posters said they clicked the link...

Serious question - do the younger, digital-first generation know nothing about common sense and scams? Maybe being suspicious about anything we receive online is a millenial thing, but how many freshmen are getting fooled by this?

  1. Berkeley doesn't have a West Valley Campus

  2. you can hover over the link to clearly see it's fake

  3. check the sender, clearly they're fake

This wasn't even an elaborate scam!
