Is there a way to lock markers or make this section bigger for clicking through?

I often find myself clicking my markers on accident when i instead want to navigate or scrub quickly.

Taking A Chill Walk Across The Eastern Continent

The world feels a lot larger when you are not blasting around on a chocobo or fast traveling everywhere. I recommend just walking around sometime and really soaking in the universe.
