Why on earth have Butcher kill his father if they're not going to do the Butcher villain arc from the comics? For me, the biggest disappointment of the series was this... I really liked the idea of Homelander dying yesterday or in episode 6, and then the remaining two episodes focusing on the consequences and Butcher killing supes. In the trailers and episode titles themselves, they imply that this will happen... in some episodes, like him killing his father, we understand that Butcher is already equal to or worse than Homelander in terms of his taste for killing. I don't see this happening satisfactorily in the last episode. Maybe he'll kill MM or some supes. But certainly, he'll end the arc as an anti-hero.
