AITAH for not sharing my financial details with my boyfriend?
My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over a year now and he wants me to tell him how much money i have in my savings and how i manage my money. However I'm not comfortable with doing that with him yet because my spending habits are embarrassing, and i feel ashamed ,😭 which is why i talk to ny mom about it because its eqsier to be open to her about. I'm in the process of improving my relationship with my money and spending habits. I get he wants to be a part of that, but im just not ready for that. Mind you, i live with my mom he lives with his roommate, we dont live together yet. were not married or engaged, we dont share any assets so its not necessary to know that Information until either im ready to share it or i have to because of whatever circumstance. Right? But he says i wont ever be ready and basically i should be able to tell him this stuff because its "just and number" and what not. Am i in the wrong for not telling him right now? I told him id tell him at some point, but its not good enough for him. He's still upset with me and feels that sense we've been together for so long, we shoukd be open about everything. AITAH?
