A Star Wars Discussion: Zeltron
I recently gotten into the deep Star Wars Lore "Legends" and I like the Zeltrons but their society also is contradictive due to them being written to be Star Wars' sex species. Zeltrons are to be extreme hedonism and this is actually hurting them lore wise because it is making their society dysfunctional. So, Zeltros, Their Home World is depicted extraordinary luxurious, Night-Life, Pleasure Planet due to the Hedonistic ways of the Zeltrons. And, there is where it becomes dysfunctional, the entire planet, really! Contradiction #1 Zeltros is the known producer of "Elixir of Infatuation" (Aphrodisiac) and the Owner of "Hologram Fun World" an amusement park moon. So, They have workers, So every Zeltron is not living this hedonistic and luxurious life. Unless you account for slave and even then Zeltrons are Star Wars Empaths, which is a character trait that is emotionally attuned, which Zeltrons rebuke negative feelings. Thus they would be the last race in star wars to have slaves, given the negative energy the slave life produce. This imbalance is the foundation that Zeltrons society does not work. Now I know I said Contradiction#1 but as I am writting this the more I realize every issue that I know of stems from this 1 major contradiction. The Zeltron lore talks about artistic they are, well you need some to draw said art, Zeltron fashion, you need someone to design said fashion. In short, Zeltrons and their society doesn't work because they were written to be nothing more than a sex race. But then they have a foundation that just needs balancing to actually work.
