MacBook Air 2020 for Sale for 80K only.

MacBook Air 2020 (Intel i5 10th Gen/ 16GB RAM / 256GB SSD) for Sale.

Demand: 80K

Battery Cycles: <560

Used carefully, fully functional working condition. It's the 16gb variant so gets most of the work done, I have done intensive coding on it and it worked just fine.

Note: Like all slim Intel MacBooks, it handles intensive tasks well but will thermal throttle if pushed hard in high summer temperatures without AC.

Just slightly dented from corner (Shown in picture below).

Reason for Selling: Upgrading my entire setup (selling both my PC and this Mac) to move to a higher-end MacBook.

What's Included: MacBook and charger. (Box not available).

Locations: Available for hand-to-hand deal in Sukkur & Karachi

Just ordered m4 air on old prices. please validate me for the sky blue color yall 😭

I'm a fan of midnight blue color or space gray/gray color and was planning to buy m5 air few day ago. Personally i hated the color sky blue but now with recent price hikes they are a bit out of my budget. So i ordered M4 Air 24gb variant in sky blue with 3 years apple care warranty for $1177 that was the only piece available. Since yesterday ive been watching videos telling myself its gonna be fine lol. Also tell if that was a good deal in 1177.

Have anybody tried playing "The Finals" on their Macbook Air? If yes how was your experience?

I'm getting macbook air m5 16/512 next month and i wonder if my favourite game "The Finals" will be playable on it. It's on steam btw.

Figma designers: Would you take 24GB RAM on M4 or a newer M5 with 16GB?

I'm stuck between two MacBook Air options that cost exactly the same:

  • MacBook Air M4 — 24GB RAM / 512GB SSD
  • MacBook Air M5 — 16GB RAM / 512GB SSD

My use case is primarily UI/UX design in Figma.

A typical work session looks like:

  • Browser with 2 Figma tabs (design file + preview)
  • YouTube tab
  • ChatGPT tab
  • Gemini tab
  • 2–3 Pinterest tabs
  • Spotify app
  • WhatsApp app

That's pretty much it.

For web development, I usually only have:

  • VS Code or Cursor
  • Browser with fewer than 6 tabs
  • Spotify

For music production, I generally only have my DAW open and focus on that.

I'm a fairly disciplined user and close apps when I'm done. I don't keep dozens of tabs open, run Docker containers, virtual machines, Android emulators, video editing software, etc.

The other factor is my environment.

I live in Pakistan and during summer the outdoor temperature can reach 48–50°C (118–122°F). I often work in a room with only a ceiling fan, so indoor temperatures can easily be 40–45°C (104–113°F). I know both MacBook Airs are fanless, but I'm wondering whether the newer M5's efficiency would make any meaningful difference in these conditions.

My confusion is this:

The logical side of me says:

>

But the tech enthusiast side of me says:

>

For people who actually use Figma professionally and own Apple Silicon Macs:

  1. Is 16GB realistically enough for my workload for the next few years?
  2. Would you choose 24GB M4 or 16GB M5 if both cost the same?
  3. Does the extreme ambient temperature change your recommendation?
  4. How much value would you place on the newer generation versus the extra 8GB RAM in this specific case?

I'd especially love to hear from designers, developers, or anyone living in very hot climates using a MacBook Air.
