Booked TVS Ronin Mid Glacier Silver through Flipkart — delivery delayed and dealer hasn’t received bike yet. Need advice
Hey everyone,
I need some guidance from fellow Ronin owners or anyone who has booked a bike through Flipkart.
I booked a TVS Ronin Mid – Glacier Silver through Flipkart.
Details:
Order date: April 13
Original delivery date: April 30
Current revised delivery date: May 20
Current Flipkart status: “Registration underway”
Amount paid: around ₹1.45L
The issue is that the original delivery date of April 30 was missed, and then Flipkart changed the date to May 20. I contacted the assigned dealer, and they told me they haven’t received the vehicle yet and don’t know the reason for the delay.
This is what’s confusing me: Flipkart shows “registration underway,” but the dealer says the bike itself hasn’t reached them. I’m not sure how registration can be underway if the vehicle hasn’t been allocated or dispatched to the dealer.
I contacted TVS customer care, and they told me to contact Flipkart. I also contacted Flipkart support/grievance, and they created incident IDs, but so far I’m mostly getting generic responses.
I’m trying to understand what the smart move is here:
Should I wait till May 20 and see if they deliver?
Should I cancel the Flipkart booking and book offline through a TVS dealer?
Has anyone here booked Ronin through Flipkart and faced this kind of delay?
Is “registration underway” just a placeholder status on Flipkart?
If the dealer hasn’t received the bike yet, is May 20 delivery even realistic?
Should I escalate to National Consumer Helpline if May 20 is missed?
I don’t want to cancel emotionally and then get stuck with refund delays or lose the current deal. But I also don’t want Flipkart to keep extending the date without any clear update.
Would really appreciate advice from anyone who has gone through TVS/Flipkart booking, Ronin delivery delays, or dealer allocation issues.
