Waited 35 days for Top Ember Grey

Had booked on 10th April and received on 15th May. The wait was too much for a bike manufactured in India. Other than that, I'm very happy with the bike. Logged around 150 kms in 6 days. Comfort for the office commute is incredible. Very happy with my decision.

Even after 35 days, the showroom I booked from didn't get it allotted to them from the warehouse. They gave the reason as shortage of raw materials for manufacturing. This model got allotted to another showroom from the warehouse, and the manager had to hand them a cheque and get it over to this showroom. Then I had to wait for a couple hours after i did payment for them to fit the accessories, wash the bike, do the PDI, and hand it over.

Ronin delivery

I booked Ronin through flipkart in hyderabad.
He gave one 2 days later but it has dent , i rejected it. He said he will check for new consignment which might take 10 days more or more not sure

Difficult to wait till drive it : (

2 years.

2 years on the RC, 30k on the ODO. Stuff added till now (chronologically)

  1. Mobile holder (cheap ass one)
  2. Ladies' footrest
  3. Visor
  4. Thigh pads/grips
  5. Knuckle guards
  6. Tank lamination
  7. Top rack+ backrest
  8. Seat cushioning

Might just jump in to get some more mods in (not stupid ahh "oh let's add wheelcover" ones). Did think of saddle stays, but well, a 80l rucksack on the top rack does the work. Crash guard with a bigger smoked wind visor might be where I go. In the meantime, get some queries started if y'all got any.

Cornering with ronin

I want to talk about cutting corners with ronin, i went recently to tamhini ghat(Maharashtra) and i was surprised with the lean i was able to get from the all purpose tyres of ronin, i want to know whether other fellow riders lean there ronin while taking turn or is this dangerous to do with such a bike, I know that tyre upgrade will help more but it will damage the adventure feeling of the bike.

The air fin thing.

Any idea where I can find the fin cover thing to cover the image above? I believe it was there for much older models (mine is 2025) but gotta buy it seperately for newer ones. I think it goes right above the engine from the pics ive seen

Ronin vibrations at around 4k RPM!

Hey guys I have 2026 Ronin mid variant.

I have noticed vibration in handle bar at around 4k rpm after 45 kmph in 4th gear. It goes away in 5th gear but again starts after around in 5th gear around 4k rpm i guess.

has anyone else faced this issue? I have done ~1250 kms on this bike bought around 2 months back. Done my 1st service a year back. Do let me know your opinion guys.

Ronin top end enhancement questions!!

Want few suggestions on how to improve the top end of my ronin , i feel ronin is overall a good bike but the top end just isn't enough while cruising on highways,,some of the modification i researched were increasing the front sprocket to one more teeth ,having a performance exhaust and changing the air filter,, i want to know if any of you have done some mods like this and give some suggestions on it

Ronin owners of Mumbai can you post the showroom quotations?

Looking to get the mid variant charcoal ember, but the showrooms nearby are putting random bs charges in accessories and extras. One showroom I went to after bargaining lowered it to 1.87L which imo is still too high. Can owners from Mumbai put quotation pics so that I can use to lower it further?

Accident my bike twice this week

First incident:

Had my friend as pillion. Front bike suddenly slowed down. I had around 3 meters gap but there was sand on the road. Front wheel drifted/slid and I hit that bike and fell on the right side. Pillion jumped off before full impact.

Damage:
Right silencer guard scratched
Engine guard scratched
Handlebar edge light chip
Brake lever light chip

Second incident happened today:
Crossing a pothole while braking and lost balance, fell on the left side.

Damage:
Ladies footrest slightly bent outward
Gear lever bend outward
Engine guard chipped
Suspension/wheel connecting area got chipped
Bike still rides and shifts, no visible oil leak or major bend.
Mirror holder chipped

Mostly worried because it happened twice recently and now I’m overthinking braking and balance on rough roads/sand, broke my confidence.

It is first bike I brought with my first salary saving :(

Anyone help me understand why I felt down how make it not happen again

Good Modular helmet around 2k?

Hey everyone,

I recently bought a TVS Ronin and I’m looking for a modular helmet since I wear specs and convenience matters for daily office commuting. I’ll mostly ride in the city, with maybe 1–2 highway/touring rides a year.

I’ve shortlisted:

  • Vega Crux DX (~1100–1150g) — very lightweight
  • Studds Trooper (~1350g) — feels more sturdy/safe

Confused between lightweight comfort vs better build.

Anyone who has used these long-term:

  • Is Trooper too heavy for daily use?
  • How’s comfort in traffic?
  • Any durability issues (visor/hinge)?
  • Is Vega good enough for city riding or too flimsy?

Would love inputs, especially from specs users and daily commuters. If you have other suggestions please let me know. Thanks!

I finally bought ittt

After several Reddit posts, asking people around, several test rides and bike comparisons, and long conversations with ChatGPT, I finally bought it.

I am soo satisfied with the purchase. Got it for 1.51 Lakh in Gurgaon. I think this is very very good price for a bike, ticks all my needs. Thank you everyone.

First Bike Ronin

Booked TVS Ronin last Friday from Flipkart and got the delivery today!

Honestly, I’m super happy right now… but also a little nervous because this is going to be my first geared bike and I’ll be learning on it 😅

Got a sweet 8k discount via Flipkart so total on-road came to around 1.42L
