Elongated mitral valve at 19
How an echocardiogram and everything came back fine except for Anterior mitral valve leaflet is elongated with relatively short posterior leaflet.
There is no mitral valve stenosis. There is trace mitral regurgitation. What does this mean. I have read that people with this develop regurgitation and need replacement or they will develop HCM. Kind of freaking out! Please let me know your thoughts
