I've been wondering for quite some time now on the authorship of the Journal text for the various missions/gig you acquire... To my understanding, said text is not written by V, but rather by an unnamed individual(?) adressing V.

Initially, I was under the impression that said unnamed individual was Johnny, however this appears to not be the case at all seeing as missions/gigs you obtain before the relic incident are written in the same style.

The entries are also not written by the individual whom hired you for the mission/gigs either.

I'm attaching a screenshot of a pre-relic gig showing that it's neither Johnny nor the Fixer(Wakako) who authored said text. Now since this is the follow-up to the Sandra Dorsett gig you do alongside Jackie, it would make sense that he is the one addressing V here. However, seeing as you show up at Wakako's Pachinko parlor without Jackie in tow, it doesn't seem to be him either? However, in another mission text("The Gift"), the individual addressing female V refers to her as "chica", which is totally a thing that Jackie does, right?

Assuming that it's Jackie who is addressing V, is it the same for all mission/gigs, or does the authorship change following the incident at Konpeki Plaza?

Now, I could be entirely incorrect about everything here. The only thing I know with 100% certainty is that I'm utterly confused.

Noticed this odd gate phenomenon.

When scanning the portion of the wall with the red dot, it says "Gate".

Anyone got any intel on what this thing is all about?

I cannot properly communicate how thoroughly disappointed I am that Maiko Maeda's character model isn't available in Photo Mode.

What about you guys? Which NPC missing from Photo mode brings you disappointments and why?

EDIT: I seem to suck ass at being able to communicate in English tonight, so I'm going to try for some clarity with this edit.

What I am asking about is who paid to have these statues erected? Who provided the eddies? Who footed the bill?
