Just wanted to give an update in case anyone cares. I bought a monstera from Etsy but it didn't look like the devil monster the seller claimed it to be. The scammer didn't respond to my messages until I got etsy involved and continued to claim it was a devil monster. When I finally opened a claim, he immediately refunded my order. I'm assuming to keep from getting flagged by Etsy?

Anyways, I went to a local shop and found a white monster instead. It looks beautiful and the wife is happy.

I bought my wife a monstera for our anniversary. It was supposed to be a devil monster from Etsy but she identified it as a Thai constellation. The seller claims he shipped me the right one. Is it just hard to tell when they're young or did I in fact get scammed?
