Why is plant so bad?
Im a plant main, and whenever i pull him out at a tourney or casuals with my other decently gouda friends everybody keeps saying "OhHhH bUt PlAnTs D TiEr" and i dont get why. Ptooie is one of the best neutral bs in the game, his up air can combo (about half as good as mario's), his up tilt combos into nair and up air and back air at higher percents, his back air, up smask, down smash, f smash, down b, upb, and neutral b all kill at decent percents, his down b's super armor invalidates some character's edgeguarding entirely, ptooie's lasting hitbox means it can punish when people try to spike you offstage, his foward air combos, and his up b is an amazing recovery while killing if you combo into it with up air. His only apparent weaknesses is no good out of shield options besides f tilt, up b sometimes helping other people recover, and his spike being garbage. so if anyone can tell me why plant is not considered a B tier character, that would be great. Edit: just remembered his jab is broken too bc it can punish shielding insanely well and has 2 variations.
