Why are people hating on Tucker so much?

I've seen a lot of edits and stuff now of Garrett, Logan, and Dean (mostly Dean...) but barely any of Tucker. I was reading through a comment section of one edit and essentially a bunch of people agreed that there are no Tucker edits because Tucker is less hot or the odd one out in the cast. I'm not sure if Jalen Thomas Brooks is black or not, but I find it odd that the only 'non-white' or caucasian actor out of the guys is getting this much hate.

After the Off-Campus books are fully adapted they will continue the series with Briar U

Ok hear me out on this. Based on how they've laid out this season, with Garrett and Hannah and the BUILDUP of Dean and Allie, then clearly they're going to do this for the next four seasons. This means we'll have the rest of Dean and Allie in szn 2, with Logan and Grace's buildup, then rest of Logan and Grace in szn 3, then Tucker and Sabrina buildup, and finally Tucker and Sabrina endgame in szn 4

BUT I don't think that's how it will end. I think they're going to tease/introduce some of the people from Briar U over the course of the rest of the seasons, and we'll get a teaser or something of the sort throughout season 4 essentially revealing that the story will either continue with the adaptation of 'The Chase' (Summer and Fitz) OR that Briar U will be its own thing, and we'll be getting the full adaptations of the four Briar U books.

I don't think this is too far fetched. Elle Kennedy's other book, Girl Abroad, is also getting an adaptation, and I think that the Off-Campus adaptation will reach the success that it's seen with its books. So there could be a chance that this happens

Logan's storyline and JULES

Jules as a character is fine, but I honestly don’t think they needed to add them. I feel like they were ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYSSSS there with the hockey players and in every single scene when they didn't need to be. At some point, I was wondering if she had literally anyone else to hang out with, because from an outisde pov, it was almost like she was living with them the amount of times they're just THERE. My biggest concern is that it could end up altering Logan’s storyline in a pretty significant way.

So far, the adaptation hasn’t made any huge changes to Hannah and Garrett’s story (or Dean and Allie’s, from what we’ve seen), but Logan’s background is different because Jeff is such an important part of his arc in the books. One of the most pivotal moments is when Jeff basically confirms what Logan already knew, which was that Logan is expected to stay behind and take over the workshop so Jeff and Kylie can spend a few years traveling before settling down. That realization crushes him cuz it means giving up his dream of being drafted into the NHL and eventually playing with Garrett on the Bruins.

In the books, the workshop was started by Logan’s father, whose alcoholism is a major part of Logan’s home life and emotional burden. The show seems to have changed that dynamic by focusing on the mother instead, who we saw in rehab. But Jules clearly has no interest in mechanics or the workshop, which raises a lot of questions for me.

Did their mother start the workshop in the adaptation, and that’s why Logan feels obligated to take responsibility for it after graduation? Or does the father still exist in this version, but something happened to him and Logan ends up carrying that responsibility anyway?

I just feel like these changes could alter the core of Logan’s story. Like sure, adaptations are always going to change things to some extent, but I can’t help feeling like we might lose some really important moments between Logan and Grace because of it, especially the conversations with his brother and his father, and Grace pointing out that it isn’t fair for his brother to put all of that responsibility on him.

The core of Logan's character is a sort resigned/quiet martyrdom becuase he's sacrificing what he wants because he feels obligated to carry those specific burdens. I’m worried that aspect of his character won’t be represented as strongly with these changes.
