And i have nowhere else to complain about it. I’m sick of seeing people try to make everything about this show about Heated Rivalry. That two men can’t be touchy feely without it being subtext or queer baiting. Or it’s giving heated rivalry. It’s making me not like HR anymore. The fan base is toxic and i haven’t seen that with this fanbase yet. But o swear it’s bound to happen.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m an ally and an advocate for the queer community but that’s not a free pass to be a jerk about it. Not everything is as deep as they want it to be. Oh my god Stephen put his legs on Belmonts lap they’re queer baiting… please stop.

Already watched the season 4 times since the release.
And I made the mistake of reading the book yesterday, and somehow I’m not able to relate the two.
I mean the show seems inspired definitely from the book, but somehow the characters seem off track from what’s depicted in the book.
And now I cannot look at the show in the same way and I feel betrayed.
Why am I even feeling so much for this show.

I just finished the show, i also read the book (ages ago) so i might have forgotten this but i really don’t remember Garrett being suspended from the team etc… the vibe they are giving is that Garrett will leave hockey forever yk (also given the conversation he had w/ Hannah in the early episodes, about hockey being his father’s thing)
so idk, i get that the showrunners chose to change some things but this one is such a big deal to me.
let me know what you guys think, also, as i already said, i might be simply misremembering the book ahahha

>!As a book reader the only way this scene will still be included in the show is if the whole fight bar scene will be justified by Hunter and Summer past relationship otherwise I don't see how they will manage it because it's clear that everyone will know. !<I genuinely hope it will be included because it's my fav part of their book.

Another one has to be Hannah kissing Logan i lowkey find it hilarious due to Logan's expressions 😭😭

One of my favorite things about the show and something I think sets the show apart is Hannah and Allie, their friendship and also just the way they are written as individual characters. Louisa seems to really understand her female characters and takes care with their development and their interactions with other women. The way the ‘puck bunnies’ were portrayed was so well done, loved that Kendall was kind to Hannah and vice versa. Allie was super sweet to the girls Dean hooked up with…and then of course the relationship between Hannah and her mom 🥹 it just made me so happy. It seems like the creators/writers really value portraying healthy, supportive relationships between women.

The off campus/Briar U/Campus Diaries books have some great fmc’s with varied personalities and I’m just so excited to see what Louisa and the writers do with each of them! I really hope we get to see Brenna and Demi, especially.

Not even kidding, my whole feeds on every single social media platforms are filled with off campus stuff. My brain chemistry is now forever altered. Can’t seem to watch any other show and keep repeating off campus and giggling like a freaking middle schooler. Don’t even get me started on that “got it” from Dean but I Certainly Did Not Got It. Someone please remind me this is all fictional and I need to get back to my real world

Thats it. I really like the actress, never seen her before but shes magnetic and I could just watch a whole aeason centered in her. I might also be a bit biased as Dean and Allies book was my favorite, including Hunters and Demi... so I really cannot dlg wait for season 2 already :p

I was rewatching Ep 4 and after the orgasm with Garrett, Hannah tells Allie that her "orgasm problem" was solved. Allie thinks it is a big deal and asks if Hannah is "freaking out." I just realized that at this point in the show the viewers and Hannah believe Allie does not know about the SA. So what do you think Hannah told Allie to explain why she had a challenge in this area?

I don't think the writing does her many favours but something between the way her character is written/her acting is just not landing for me

I’m sincerely not being mean. I’m just genuinely curious.

I’m seeing so much posts about how ‘devastated’ people would be if Beau dies. Which I respect but as a book reader, not only is it very important in The Score but also Beau wasn’t really all that much other than Dean’s best friend. He’s getting so much more love than Tucker to be honest.

If that major plot point didn’t happen, there would be no point in the actor staying anyway or if he did get a story arc, then he would be taking up more screen time in an already convoluted show about FOUR couples. People already don’t like how much Jules is taking up so much time in the series and lots of people had a problem with season 1’s pacing.

I sincerely do respect if you love this character. Just having a hard time seeing the appeal when while reading the books, I’ve never seen him more than a charming side character.

But does anyone else always notice whenever Antonio is talking about book 2,India,Grace,etc, Jalen is alws like laughing or trying not to laugh while he’s talking about that stuff lmaoo like just an observation i thought was funny. I’m always like wondering if there’s a joke bts or what’s so funny but maybe it’s cus Antonio alws gets so excited talking about the potential moments in the book he wants to see transfer onto the show…but yeah like Stephan & Jalen alws seem giggly whenever Antonio is talking abt something India or LoganGrace,The Mistake related. 😭💀 I mean it’s very nice he seems excited without giving much away..
