Do you think we'll get a deeper look at Jean's backstory?
What do you think is the biggest thing Dean and Allie have in common?
When you look at all the couples, they work because each person is different to each other while sharing things in common, and it balances out into their relationships
When it comes to Dean and Allie, I can think of many things they have in common, but also lots of things they don't. So what do you think is the main central thing they share in common??
Since enough time has passed, how do you feel about the way Jean Grey was portrayed in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?
For me, Jean Grey was perfect for the direction they're taking her, which is clearly as a troubled youth who becomes a hero with Xavier's training and the X-Men supporting her
I truly believe that a young Jean without any guidance would act out like this, so I have no problems with it. Also, keep in mind that it's an adaptation, it's never going to be exactly as the comics did it, that's not how the MCU has ever done things
I have to raise my voice just to be noticed
Maybe this is a first-world problem, but it's genuinely so annoying that sometimes I literally have to raise my voice just so people hear me and take notice
Does anyone else experience this?
Do you think Secret Wars will lead directly into X-Men?
For those unaware, Sadie will return as Jean Grey in Avengers: Secret Wars, and has been said to have a pretty major role in the film. So obviously the main assumption is the multiverse will be completely recreated into a new prime-universe where all the heroes co-exist, and the multiverse will be essentially done with
With this mind, do you think it's possible Secret Wars could be a direct lead-in to the X-Men movie, considering Jean's role?
What do you hope to see from the relationship between Jean and Rogue in the MCU??
My worry about Jean Grey in the MCU!
Maybe I'm too online, and have seen too many negative takes. But one of my worries about Jean Grey's future in the MCU is the online response.
Now, I love Brand New Day, and I love the way Jean has been introduced. However, with that has come misogyny and sexism aimed at the character, and aimed at Sadie herself (which is a whole other thing), and it makes me very sad and worried that this will continue going forward, especially if they intend to push Jean forward in the MCU
Mutant Inhibitor Chips
Do you like the added aspect of the fact Spider-Man is the creator of the mutant inhibitor chips for the MCU?? Obviously he doesn't know what it's going to be used for in the future, but I really like the added aspect
Now he and Jean have established this mutual friendly bond and connection, I wonder what happens going forward with that if she's going to know it's because of him, since he used one on her, or if other mutants will find out he created them. Could Jean feel guilty for her role in it??
What do you think?
If the MCU does the clone story, would you rather they clone Sara Grey?
I had this thought that instead of doing the whole Jean Grey-Madelyne Pryor thing since I feel it may be confusing for general audiences to get (the multiverse concept has been lost on quite a few general audiences for some movies etc)
So maybe instead they clone Sara, I would assume Metzger has her DNA or something, maybe he even took her blood or her brain for testing, who knows?
Do you want Jean Grey to become a public superhero in the MCU, or rather she remain more hidden and private?
Jean Grey with her man and her best friend ❤️
Garrett Falling in Love
Hey lovelies 💕
I wanted to bring up a topic that piqued my interest and that is the topic of Garrett falling in love, not just with Hannah, but in general, because I actually got wondering if it was something he deliberately avoided and almost feared falling in love with someone
Obviously he has his trauma and his fears because of his dad, so it got me thinking that could he have been afraid of loving someone out of fear of hurting them. You could argue that was explained by the break-up scene, but not really, because emotions were high in that moment (for me personally)
So what do you think? Do you think he actively tried to avoid falling in love before Hannah?
Do you like the idea of the X-Men being younger and inexperienced?
In comparison to the Fox movies, I really like this approach Marvel is taking with making the X-Men younger, which means they will be more inexperienced and have to learn to manage their powers as they go through the movies. What do you think? Are you happy by this approach?
X-MEN (2028) - Are you happy with everything so far??
I know this is a Jean Grey sub - but this is relevant, so please don't remove this!
But all the castings have me so excited about the movie, and what it could tell for the future of the X-Men franchise. Obviously this is only the first movie, there will be more down the line, but I'm genuinely very excited to see everyone. We have our Cyclops officially for Sadie's Jean, we have Ororo, we have Rogue, we have Xavier, Sinister is the main villain officially
What do you think? Are you happy and excited?
Ladies, what is a line from the show that would make you melt instantly if a man said it to you in real life?
If a man actually said a line to you that was said in the show, what is that one line which would make you immediately melt over it?? 💕
