I get she’s trying to be strong for Ross, but sticking up for him over Amy in the caff and acting all cosy with him on the sofa pretending like nothing happened when she could barely stand to look at him a couple of weeks ago???

I know Joel is trying to have an incel redemption arc and Eastenders is known for being far fetched, but it doesn’t do much for her character at all. It just makes her blokey bird persona all the more annoying.

Too many new characters at once, and not enough variation in age. Writers trying to hard to make them seem zany, tough and chaotic.

Also, I don't like Nicole and her bully girl act.

I feel like everytime a character is pregnant, there is always at least 2 possible fathers. Why cant we just have a happy couple excited to have a baby. Especially with penny and vinny, they have become a cute couple and we know that it won't last when the baby is born. They could have made the storyline about the challenges of being a disabled parent, and they probably will show that, but it will be overshadowed by the baby drama.

Either that or she has the social awareness of a potato.

Max has the reputation of being the Albert Square No.1 Top Shagger (hide yo daughters, hide yo wife), The GOAT, The Wife Slammer of Walford, the OG Milfhunter, ect.. and then he stays out all night and keeps acting super shady and she is like "ohh no u dirty stop out ur a nawty boy, anyway my wedding.."

LIKE WHAT?!

also, Avani and Nugget dont ever hint that they are staying at their dad's place, but i assume its implied.. but still, they havent noticed Max coming out of their mum's bedroom? The toilet seat probably being left up?

Thoughts on abortion storylines.

Personally I’d like to see an abortion storyline that’s from someone who’s not under 25. I think the last time we saw someone older than that have an abortion was Sharon in the 90s. The topics always shown to be a young girl/woman issue.

So much that seemed predictable already looks true. I think there's gotta be huge twists or it feels boringly predictable. Surely we shouldn't know so much already.

Cindy marrying Max.

Priya the pregnant lady.

Lauren msging/meeting mark.

Ravi could well be the gunman, especially now if Priya says yes to marriage then continues with max.

Baby likely to be penny's.

Right now, he's the doting father-to-be and has got everything he's wanted. It looks like very soon it's all going to be taken from him with Penny due to give birth in September.

The baby is not Vinny's and the relationship will end—and it's not clear if Penny will be alive or dead by the flashforward.

Are we going to see Vinny snap? Smash up Penny's precious new store? Are we going to see it's a case of 'like father, like son' afterall?

If it wasn't for Zoe about to be bumped off, I'd question whether Vinny might kill Penny in a fit of rage.

Things are all very cutesy and loved up with all the Panesars at the moment. I'm wondering if this is the calm before the storm as we go into A/W and beyond.

Who do we really think Max is marrying at Christmas my opinion changes all the time ??

Love it or loathe it (like Ben Wadey clearly loathes it), Zoe Slater has a twin brother...and if she really does die/get killed, then they'll never meet. When Zoe's return was announced, I really hoped they'd make the twins part of that storyline, but to now kill her off and never have them meet...I can't forgive Wadey for that. It just smacks of spite, which you just know is why he gave Zoe twins of her own. He gave her twins, to deflect away from being a twin herself...and no comment on the quality of those twins :-/

Now, maybe it's a double-bluff that she dies, although funeral photos have just been released, but why is Wadey doing this? It's not down to Michelle, because she could ask to leave and ask for Zoe to be killed even, but it's not her choice as to whether Zoe leaves by taxi or hearse.

I am so convinced that Wadey's tenure is being driven by spite, but it's also cutting his nose off to spite his face.

Maybe I haven't been paying enough attention recently (I'm posting this whilst watching today's episode), but it's like we haven't seen the Laundrette in ages!

poor poor women but it’s such an important story line to go through and she’s portraying it so well my heart goes out to everyone in similar situations in real life

Is it Zoe? Perhaps a bit left field as her and max haven’t had much interaction recently. But perhaps the rumours of her leaving / dying are all a ruse and the funeral photo are a red herring (like Linda’s funeral in her dream). It would be quite predictable if the woman turns out to be Priya.. although maybe it will be that predictable!

Is it just me or are the women being unnecessarily nasty to Cindy? I’m not saying she’s innocent because she definitely isn’t. Yes, she can say the wrong things, but that’s just her, she doesn’t necessarily mean any harm, a bit like Kim in that respect. But she’s hardly the only woman on the Square who’s made mistakes. I’m actually finding the way they’re treating her really uncomfortable to watch. It’s sad that she doesn’t seem to have a single genuine friend. Even Janine had Kim!

In all seriousness will Barney ever find love or even get noticed by any the girls in the Square that hang around him like Amy, Lilly, Avani or writers have biased towards someone who’s quirky and autistic?
