Call me crazy, but I think...
...I think the nurse with Denise might turn out to be a figment of her imagination as part of a coping mechanism, there's literally zero evidence to support this but I'm getting vibes.

I could've sworn that Janine named her daughter Patricia after pat died. When and why did they change it back to scarlett?
I feel Dayo (the actor) has come leaps and bounds… you can tell at first he was getting comfortable and finding his feet, autistic individuals thrive better when they are familiar with environments and people… now that’s he’s been in the show for over a year and his acting has gone from good to great, super confident and his character has a personality beyond his autism, it’s so time for a love interest!!
Remember when he asked Jean out 😂😭 so sweet 🥺🥺
I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this but I seriously could not give a damn about this storyline, max as a character is completely gone, nothing makes sense, this show is sadly turning into hollyoaks, just rushed storylines and repetitive garbage.
With joel set to make a return this summer to Albert square do you think he deserves a redemption arc or would you like to see a who killed joel storyline what do you think does he deserve a redemption arc or a who killed joel storyline if it happens I would definitely want to see
What's been your favourite Eastenders moments of 2026 so far?
Here are some of my favourite moments so far
1 Witney Dean's come back iv really enjoyed her come back for 2 Episodes. She was one of my favourite characters to return so far in 2026.
2 Clare and josh's return For nigel's funaral I love seeing them both returning for the funaral I just wished clare makes a full come back in the future she is also great in hollyoaks as Clare devine.
3 Sam Mitchell's stint I Really love her character more than grant because she was really helpful to Denise and of course we got to see her. More of her caring side of her than rather than her villan side I just wished she stuck around longer.
What is your favourite moments of the first 6 months of Eastenders and what would you like to see for the remaining last 6 months of 2026 ?.
Here’s a list of stuff I’d love to see the show do going forward . Some serious and fun and lighthearted stuff , some serious and more dark stuff .
Serious :
A death caused by slow police times . ( something like a heart attack )
A long term missing child story line (thinking Janet , or Amy or Tommy )
A woman on man abuse story line ( like Kirsty on Tyrone from corrie.)
Endometriosis.
A racism towards the white community story line .
Someone be faseley accused of rape . ( see how it affects their life , how they lose their job , family friends etc )
A sudden male suicide .
Either a transgender character Introduction, or a current character going through it .
Sexstortion storyline
The stress of going through driving lessons .
Slaters lose the vic
A new family introduced , connected to no one .
A teens road trip once one of them learns to drive ( perhaps a new character )
Weird unexpected friendships .( an example is Elaine and Tommy or jasmine and Harvey )
A married couple to have no issues , or nothing to slit them up within the first two years .
A genuinely successful and unproblematic birth
Give jasmine something lighthearted.
A character randomly wins the lottery , but decides to invest in the community and the people around them .
A long lost Mitchell comes out of the wood work ( since Phil needs company )
A lock in in Knight fusion for the men to drink and talk about their problems once a fortnight . Could make for fun and emotional scenes for the men .
It’s on BBC1 right now (Absolutely Fabulous The Movie) after the World Cup match. The daughter (can’t remember her name) has a half sister who I am sure is played by the actress playing Jasmine on Eastenders atm. A little bit younger, but same bone structure, accent, smile and eyes. Unmissable. Yup…she’s just popped back up on screen in a scene with the camp guy from Glee. It’s definitely her!
What else has she been in?
Right, off to enjoy the rest of the movie! :)
This might be a doomed from the start style relationship on purpose but is it just me or is it entirely unlikely these two would ever couple up? Sure there would be compatibilities if you just suddenly forget all thats happened with Lucy and Steven and the fact their marriage makes Lauren and Peter's in laws their step parents too. This has all probably been said but the relationship is far too forced for me
Remembering a while back at Vickys hen night and instantly seeing Bea in a wig resemble Phyl Oswyn from itvs "Bad Girls"; I cant unsee it now and everytime Bea now appears on screen I say to my partner "oh there's Phyl" 🤣🤣
Is there any other resident that you folks have thought resembled another character/celebrity from a tv show? 👀
After watching the episode on 02/07/26...not only is Bea a bit of a bunny boiler>!, turns out she's also a dog murderer. 😢!<
>!RIP Ringo 🪦🐶!<
Has there ever been a time on EE (or other soaps) where an actor/actress had unexpectedly passed away whilst in the role (not on set)?
One thing I’ve noticed lately is that a lot of secrets or lies are being exposed quicker than usual. Oscar and Josh’s affair, Bea’s lies and Denise’s cancer are recent examples. I think it’s a lot better than just dragging the storylines out more and more, but I agree some storylines need to be kept a secret a lil longer for narrative purposes, I.e Max and Priya.
Anyone else bored of the Max and Priya situation?
The one night stand was one thing but now it just seems forced. I get that Priya is hurting over Ravi leaving her but really? So full on with Max all of a sudden?
As for Max, I get that this is what he does but it’s rinse and repeat viewing. Surely they can come up with something more interesting for him?
The one night stand was already enough for the FF pregnancy scene.
I would’ve much preferred to see Cindy cheating and Max’s reaction… then it be revealed that Max was also cheating on the low but the audience only finds out after Cindy gets caught or something and it’s worse because Max possibly got the woman pregnant.
I miss when Eastenders used to have things going on in the background that the audience knew nothing about until a shock reveal during conversation between characters, an out of the blue text message, or a full blown pub reveal lol.
I miss the edge of your seat storylines, surprises and shocks that leave your mouth for 10mins, the funny one liners and scenes that feel authentic 😔
Since we've passed the middle point of 2026, let me know your opinions on the plots and characters we've had so far:

With everyone saying that storylines are repetitive, what storylines haven't we ever seen on the show or even any other soap ever. What could we witness that we have genuinely never seen before?
Seeing how Peter helped save Jordan and how he was with Chelsea.. it got me thinking that they would be really cute together. Seeing as Lauren is in love with Mark, Chelsea and Peter would be good… what do you all think?
Who else thinks Nicola is growing on them?
Initially I didn’t really like Nicola and didn’t see a point in her character, but now, as her character has grown I really like her! I think she’s classy but also a baddie, but we can see her vulnerable sides too
