Rumor: New information about Sadie Sink’s powers in Brand New Day
Sounds interesting, it makes me wonder if they will portray her powers differently in the MCU if this information is accurate and IF Sadie Sink is playing Jean Grey.

I like how MJ is being targeted. It feels like another cat & mouse game. I swear Sadie Sink better be Jean Grey with all of this speculation.
She would’ve been way better as firestar.
What are you wanting to see from her in Avengers Doomsday & possibly Secret Wars?
UPDATE: I meant to list 2028 as the year film will release.
‘X-MEN: SINISTER’
Act I
In 2016, Nathaniel Essex works on Project: Black Womb where he and Dr. Kurt Marko, the future father of Juggernaut, research and monitor mutant bloodlines. Four years later, Essex discovers the nine-year-old Jean Grey and becomes obsessed with her abilities. He arranges for her parents to be killed, so that she’d be placed into his orphanage, The State Home for Foundlings, but before he can carry out the plan, Charles Xavier recruits Jean as his first student.
Shortly after, Essex discovers young mutants Scott and Alex Summers, who were brutally injured in a plane crash that also killed their parents. Essex disguises himself as a doctor at the hospital Scott and Alex are being treated at, experiments on them both, allows Alex to live at The State Home for Foundlings, and causes Scott to slip into a coma to further research his powers and genetic makeup. Eventually, Scott wakes up and joins his brother at the orphanage.
Years later in the present year of 2028, Professor Charles Xavier has fully established The School for Gifted Youngsters, which is attended by Scott Summers, Jean Grey, Bobby Drake, Henry McCoy, and Warren Worthington III, who now fight crime as Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Iceman, Beast, and Angel. They recently prevented Xavier’s longtime rival and former partner Erik Lensherr aka Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, which includes Alex Summers aka Havok, from taking over the world and enslaving the human race.
With Magneto and his team now being held at The Raft, where he’s held in a plastic cell built specifically for him, Professor X uses Cerebro to search for other mutants across the globe. Scott and Jean track Storm, Rogue, and Colossus down and recruit them to attend Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. Professor X also discovers the existence of two other mutants, twins Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, the children of Magneto.
Act II
Now operating as the villainous Mister Sinister, Nathaniel Essex forms a team of mutants known as the Marauders, which includes Sabretooth, Arclight, Blockbuster, Harpoon, and Malice, and orders them to attack the X-Men and capture Jean Grey. In their first confrontation with the X-Men, the Marauders successfully best them and capture Jean, delivering her to Mister Sinister.
Sinister forces Jean to remain in a comatose state, so he can extract her DNA to create a clone and ultimately harness her immense power.
New students Ororo Munroe, Piotr Rasputin, and Anna Marie are forced to join the X-Men as Storm, Colossus, and Rogue to attempt a rescue mission of Jean Grey. Mister Sinister dispatches the Marauders to stop the X-Men from retrieving Jean, and a battle ensues where Iceman is severely injured.
Having no other choice, Professor X decides to ask Magneto for help.
Professor X and the X-Men break Magneto, Mystique, Toad, Havok, and Mastermind out of The Raft.
Act III
With the help of Magneto and his Brotherhood of Mutants, Professor X and the X-Men locate Jean Grey and rescue her from Mister Sinister. When they arrive to free her, they discover that Sinister has already created a clone of Jean, and they are unable to tell which is the original. Both versions of Jean leave with the others.
Still unable to decipher who is the original or the clone, both Jeans stay behind at the X-Mansion for Professor X to evaluate, while the rest of the mutants leave to confront Mister Sinister.
During the final confrontation with Sinister and the Marauders, the X-Men and Brotherhood struggle to defeat them. Eventually, the Jean Grey that Xavier believes to be the original joins the fight, using her telekinesis to defeat Mister Sinister while the others best the Marauders. He is then arrested and imprisoned at The Raft.
In the aftermath of the final battle, Professor X once again attempts to recruit Magneto and his Brotherhood to join the X-Men and teach and attend his School for Gifted Youngsters. He declines, but Havok stays behind as Magneto and the rest of the Brotherhood depart to search for his long lost children.
The Jean that Xavier believes to be the clone created by Mister Sinister departs to find her place in the world.
In the final sequence, Scott Summers and Hank McCoy are shown recruiting Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler, Sean Cassidy aka Banshee, and Jubilation Lee aka Jubilee to enroll at the School for Gifted Youngsters.
In the post-credits scene, Remy LeBeau aka Gambit meets Logan aka Wolverine in a bar, where they begin to argue. The final shot shows them gearing up to fight.
I thought this would clear up any confusion on when the films and shows take place in
Edit: To give more context, the reason the architecture and fashion in legion looks vintage/ nostalgic is because most of the buildings and architecture was destroyed by magneto in X men apocalypses. So many buildings and entire cities were destroyed in that film, millions died.
The reason the fashion is more nostalgic is because people started looking at the past for inspiration. since the future looks so bleak.
Legion also fits in, when you put charles fighting in the korean war. In the show, we see charles in a war which puts him in a mental hostpital. It would make more sense if Charles was in the Korean war. Plus it makes what he tells Erik "Killing will not bring you peace" More impactful because charles has actually killed people in war.
Legion being in the timeline also improves X men 3, since at the end of the movie Charles puts his mind into a new body. Something he learned from the shadow king, since he did the same thing in Legion.
Edit 2: The reason why there's almost no mutants in deadpool 1 and 2 and why the X mansion is empty is because mutants are slowly dying off, which we find out in Logan.
In deadpool and wolverine, deadpool goes to a reality that's exactly the same as timeline C, but mutants never die off, plus we know this is a different reality since his friends that died in the 2nd movie are suddenly alive.
I have an idea for a song in a: Rogue (Anna Marie) and Gambit (Remy LeBeau) centric movie, whether it's an X-men movie focused mainly on Rogue and Gambit and their relationship or if it's a just their own movie. The song idea I have that I think perfectly represents Rogue and Gambit and their upbringings is "Orange Blossoms" by JJ Grey and Mofro. I just think it perfectly captures that southern feeling and it talks about love and the tragedy of it. While making this I imagined this song playing and then transitioning to a live band playing as we cut to the first scene of the movie. What I had in specific was a flashback of Anna Marie's childhood, where she’s at a concert with her childhood love, whether it be her and Gambit ( they didn’t meet this early in the comics, so probably no) or Cody (the boy she kissed when her powers first awakened). I really think this is a great song choice. Like this as the intro song.
What a way to introduce the X-Men into the MCU. Sadie Sink will play Madelyne Pryor, who has been planted into Tom Holland’s Spider-Man universe by Mister Sinister. This will be the first film with a direct link to the Mutant Saga. It’s going to be phenomenal.
Odessa A'zion has been very popular in fancasts lately, especially for Rogue or Wonder Woman. However, looking at Scarlet Witch's portrayal in the comics, she strongly reminds me of Odessa. She has the exact same look and vibe.
I know many fans prefer Gratiela Brancusi for the role of Wanda, but personally, I think she would be a much better fit for Magda, Wanda's mother.
Genuine question.
I love the characters, the costumes, the relationships, the themes, the cartoons, the movies, and the whole idea of mutantkind.
But when I actually sit down to figure out where to start, what matters, what got retconned, what event leads into what, and which books are considered essential, I sometimes end up feeling overwhelmed.
Sometimes I feel more connected to Cyclops, Emma Frost, Rogue, Gambit, Wolverine, Jean Grey, and the overall mythology than I do to the comics themselves.
Maybe that's a weird thing to admit as an X-Men fan, but I've always found myself loving the world of X-Men more easily than navigating the actual reading order.
Anyone else feel this way, or am I alone on this one?
If sadie sink is jean grey I can see her being the POV joining the OG 5. But otherwise i’d do Kitty Pryde joining a team of Cyclops, Jean, Storm, Nightcrawler, Iceman and Colossus. both ideas would have the plot be a coming of age story that leads to a rescue mission rescuing hank mccoy on krakoa as mr sinister could be kidnapping mutants to test on them. the public may not know about mutants but we can explore themes of the POV learning to control their powers and accepting who they are as a mutant as i think the POV could be uncomforable being at the school at first.
Personally I’d like to see them in yellow and black maybe towards the climax of the film, Idm them starting off in their original/main costumes. Although this is one of those instances where I hope they add more detail to the suits, I always hated the lack of detail in the FOX xmen movies when it came to suit design, especially in dark phoenix, idk it looked kinda goofy to me. Either way hopefully these suits are memorable unlike the Fox ones
