My MCU version of the Rivals costume if they made it for the movies.

Basically a storyboard in Cosplay form today. We have a special treat at the end if the pictures if you make it there.

I heard your thoughts and constructive criticism so I tried to make the midsection look a bit less odd by changing

You all seem to appreciate my lower budget alternative custom work. I'm trying to do my own thing. I still wanted to be paying homage to what the MCU/Rivals is doing but make my version vs just duplicating it verbatim. First thing you will notice is more actually metallic looking jewelry. I found it odd all his larger peices of jewelry looks like foam. It seems like this was purposely done but I think I thought it could look more regal with sharper lines and more sturdy metalic gold throughout the design.

I am almost there just a few more peices I'm waiting for and I will have made a I think pretty accurate and possibly better in some ways royal aquatic wear. Before you ask I will be growing my facial hair out to match his look over the next week.

Second pic is more recent with the addition of the blue necklace. I did the test pic with the spear right before for reference.

Questions:

1.How would you do the green carving on the spear? I don't mind mine but I wanted to make it look more legit if possible.

2. Is the wig necessary or should I get rid of it?

PS. Please don't judge my body too harshly. I was bloated and honestly not quite in superhero shape yet. But i'm getting there! Lol

Who else is ready for X97 S2?

For those who don't know this comic was an eight issue miniseries written by Joss Whedon. It is where the slayer scythe originated chronologically. It takes place in a futuristic 33rd century New York city where the vampires are called lurkes.

The series is about one percenters and the poor divide as well as action filled. Melaka Fray is the main protagonist. She, unlike her predecessors, has no mystical connection to her slayer heritage or watcher to help guide her.

If I were Disney/Fox I would cast Inde Navarrette train her a bit in a movie with an option for a trilogy get Chloé Zhao back as director with Marti Noxon as writer and Sarah Michelle Gellar as a producer. What do you guys think?

Robin armor I got will not stay together for anything! I've tried every glue I can think of. Any alternative approach I'm forgetting?

Even drilling holes and adding clasps I've contemplated.

Any advice to avoid drilling and possibly destroying the plastic?

WIP I am working on. It has some parts I am getting different from the cowl ( though I like this one) to the bodysuit. But I custom made the belt and what are your thoughts on the trunks?

Ignore the cowl and the bodysuit. I'm getting a better one soon. That being said, these things turned out much better than what I expected. It surprisingly gave me Joel Schumacher Batman vibe but more the good parts if that makes sense haha. Anyway what are your thoughts on the shorts and the belt?
