Try out this X-Men Logo Generator (it doesn't use AI)

Try it out here: https://pixelframe.design/x-men-logo-font-generator/

I make these generators and thought you guys would appreciate this here. I paid really close attention to the styling of the original logo to recreate it as faithfully as possible - from the shapes of the letters themselves to the distortion/perspective effects. Also included an optional subtitle field based on the X-Men '97 title style. If you have fun with it, please post what you make!

Feral Wolverine in season 2

Does anyone else feel like we were cheated out of a feral Wolverine storyline? With the big cliff hanger of season 1, I was just expecting more.

I don't blame them for sacking the lead writer, but I just wished they would have delayed this season and put together a less chaotic and scrambled season together.

I get that fans too, can be feral, but there's no shame in going "hey, we need to delay this by a few months and establish a new lead."

The Love Triangle or Love Quadrangle in X-Men '97

My Questions:

  • What do you personally think of love triangle or quadrangle dramas in X-Men?
  • Do you prefer it that Scott Summers didn't cheat on Jean Grey with Emma Frost, but instead with Madelyne Pryor in this universe?
  • Should the Power Couple Scott and Jean stay together or separate for good?
  • Does it bother you that Logan/Wolverine is always in love or obsessed with Jean in many adaptations?
  • And was it even a good idea to construct a love triangle involving Rouge, Gambit and Magneto?

I hope we get a scene like this in season 3.

There is no way Gambit is gonna just forget what happened to him and pretend like it didn’t happen. It’s gonna affect him some type of way.

How Many versions are Apocolypose are there in the show?

I've been trying to figure this out, but I just can't find any supporting evidence. I think we are led to believe that there are 3 current versions of Apocalypse,

The future variant has yet to show up, but he traveled away in S2E1

The Past variant[Eh-Sabbah-Nur] seems to still be in the past? But how did he escape?

Present variant- The one we know is defeated by the end of s2 of the show. However I am beginning to question if that was just The past variant since he wanted to kill his girl that betrayed him

I'm dying for another 90s Spider-Man TAS crossover

After seeing the 90s Doc Oc in episode 9, I'm dying for them to make an episode with Christopher Daniel Barnes, the voice of 90s Spider-Man. I know we've already seen him and and MJ in the season finale of season 1, but how cool would it be to bring the voice actors back? (Sidenote: the current voice of Jean was the voice of Black Cat/Felicia Hardy in the 90s)

The neogenic nightmare arc from the 90s Spider-Man cartoon and the crossover with X-Men was one of my favorites, not to mention it could be argued that it semi-influenced Spider-Man Brand New Day.

What are your ideas for how they could bring it in?

Initial Facial Prosthetics Test-Sabretooth Cosplay

Initial Facial Prosthetics Test-Sabretooth Cosplay

So this is my preliminary trial on the facial prosthetics for my Sabretooth Cosplay. Not sure if this is where I’ll end up landing, but I’m wanting to see how it will all work together. Definitely open to suggestions on how to make it better. I definitely think the eyebrows need a little trimming. Not sure about the white eyes yet. The fangs look OK but they keep falling out so I’m not sure they’re gonna work.

More Gambit in Latest X-Men97 Comic

More from X-Men '97 Season 2 Strike Files (on Marvel.com with a subscription). There was some confusion yesterday in the discussion forum with the last post, so I wondered if this would clear things up more (or maybe make it worse, idk, lol). So what seems to be happening is Apocalypse in Gambit's body is ready to take his revenge on the X-Men, but then he finds a photo of Gambit and Rogue. Which then morphs into a combination of the Death and Lovers Tarot cards, along with Apocalypse and his ex, Candra. This confuses and angers Apocalypse, who then promptly switches his revenge tour to Candra. Which I take to mean Gambit is likely influencing things subconsciously. But, we'll see next week.

What was Professor X going to say? Power of what?

As Jean once used the power of the Phoenix to bind the M’kraan Crystal, I now bind you with the power of AHHHHHHHH

Power of what?

Spoiler: We can never have these two at once

Anyone notice how we can never have Gambit and Nightcrawler at the same time? As my two favorite characters it’s beyond frustrating. One is always dead or MIA while the other is active.

This Magneto will become as iconic as the classic Magneto in time

The first season was so incredible, and Magneto's scenes in season 2 were iconic for a myriad of reasons. The original thoughts on the '97 Magneto were so mixed, but I genuinely think it will be looked back upon with love in time. Thoughts?

How are we feeling about the ''Polaris x Bishop'' pairing they seem to be teasing?

Was it ever a thing in the comics? Will it sail onto Season 3? Let's discuss...

She's 2/2 now

And before that, he got banished to the center of time by Charles and the worlds' most powerful telepaths hitting him with a psychic Care Bear stare. Most of his comic appearances don't fare much either btw.

The way Apocalypse works as a character he shines the most when he's introduced causing unlikely team-ups and cameos. Shows how threatening he is in the second act when he's wrecking shit with his horsemen. Unfortunately he falls flat by the third act since he has no stakes or personal involvement because he's just a dragon to slay. Which is a bit strange since this is one of the few times Apocalypse had another motive aside from "Bleh, I'm evil!"

We could've used like 2 more episodes of Apocalypse fucking with Charles, getting his horsemen together and did a bit more with the whole self fulfilling prophecy of the X-Men creating Apocalypse. And I think the finale should've been a two-parter where they worked in X-Men X-Corp, X-Force and X-Factor all teaming up against Apocalypse and his horsemen before Rogue shows up and shoves Apocalypse into a Pokeball.

I still enjoyed season 2, maybe slightly more than season 1. It felt like the OG cartoon while the first season felt more like an OVA dedicated to the 90's cartoon. One thing I'll agree with anyone on is that it overall felt rushed at times. It's more apparent than the first season because it felt like 10 lbs of sausage being shoved in an 8 lb bag. All in all, I'm just glad the entire season wasn't about the past, present and future. That was my #1 concern going into season 2 because I felt it would get stale.

It’s crazy for such an iconic supervillain, Apocalypse most of the time doesn’t feel powerful nor intimidating.

Whenever he’s portrayed he doesn’t feel like the powerful threat that he should be. He has some of the craziest abilities for a supervillain ever. His mutant ability allows him to have complete control over his molecular structure which is amped up by celestial technology. He’s capable of granting himself powers and he has the power to turn people into his horseman. He’s turned Hulk into a horseman and he’s physically strong enough to box with guys like him and Thor.

Like imagine a mutant who’s physically strong and durable enough to be nearly up there with guys like Thor, Juggernaut, and Hulk who is bestowed with celestial energy/technology, who’s also capable of manipulating his molecular structure, could grant himself powers, and could turn almost anyone into his own horseman? That’s basically what Apocalypse is.

He be all accounts should be on the same playing field as villains like Doctor Doom and Thanos but he’s often portrayed to be weaker than he should be. This season he felt more like a brick/super strength character than an actual powerful threat with tons of powers in his arsenal. Even the way he got taken felt pretty anticlimactic.

I also think the fact that he’s not an Omega level mutant makes his whole ideology on Darwinism a whole contradiction.
