Made it all myself based off the concept art! I’ve been meaning to do an OG Magik cosplay so thought I would put the sword to good use in the mean time:3

My handmade very diy Magik summer skin cosplay! I know it’s not completely exact but I wanted to get it out as quickly as possible so I based everything off her concept art that was first released. I’ve also been planning an OG Magik skin cosplay for ages so I figured I may as well put the sword to use in the meantime😅

Word on the street is it’s impossible to do a good cosplay of this so I took the bait and did my best🕷️There was a spider tattoo on my ribs but the heatwave had its way with it…

Made the entire thing myself and I’m HELA proud (I’ll show my self out that was terrible I’m so sorry). Never in my life have I had this much trust in a couple pieces of tape.

Quick *disclaimer* bc I know this is gonna get some mixed reviews - I love cosplay always have and always will. I am an asmrtist who does cosplay bc it’s a passion, I would be doing cosplay even if I wasn’t working in a job that also comes under the ‘online’ umbrella, I just wouldn’t be able to do it as much. I do a ton of rivals cosplays bc I actually actively play the game, every evening since I started last year I’ve been on and losing mmr. I’m only saying all this bc ik some people get frustrated about posts like these and I totally get it but just know I’m actively part of the community, and the main reason I do it is bc it’s fun and I want to share it with others who also might think it’s cool ❤️

Exercising my use of free will, this is where I'm up to on the arm at the moment and the first try on! lots of bits fell off so ignore the patches and glue, I was just so happy it actually moved like it should😅 I've also done the sword and working on the bicep piece right now
