Bobby is essentially a complete immortal, and essentially he’s ageless as well because his body can be formed from anything as long as he’s mentally conscious. So yes he’s very durable that being said if you’re like me and you basically view all the Krakoa “resurrections” as glorified clones it’s ironic he’s the only member of the O5 still standing for all intents and purposes. Jean, & Scott were getting murked every chance a writer got in that arc. Beast and Warren did aswell Bobby melted but reformed later he was never rezzed the rest all cloned, Xavier aswell cloned.

When you think about it Iceman is truly the last ORIGINAL X-Men standing.

As some of you may know I have been doing a project of reading the whole of marvel comics in release order! I have also been making a game of keeping track of kill counts, the main rule being the kills must occur on screen or be explicitly mentioned or alluded to. As of this point in marvel Dark Phoenix has just arrived and in her debut issue of wiping out the planet of D’bari and tossing a Shi’ar vessel on top for good measure, sure now beats out people like Galactus, Thanos and even Grand Moff Tarkin with the Death Star for her count.

The only one who tops her presently is Arishem the Celestial Judge, who admittedly still dwarfs her count, but I just felt that with me hitting this major event within my project I may as well share this interesting tidbit of knowledge. And I don’t think she’ll be demoted to a bronze medalist for a good while to come

I keep seeing clips of X2 on Instagram so I decided to rewatch it. This is the scene where mystique hacks strikers computer to find out where Eric is and just before it went away I noticed LeBeau, Remy and I was like hold up that’s gambit then noticed all these names are marvel characters I think it’s so cool it also says Maximoff (2) which has to be Wanda and Pietro and that even way back in the Fox 2003 era they had them here because they are Magnetos kids

Just does not feel like X-Men to me notably Exceptional X-Men, it seems to have been the worst so far. Granted I am behind a bit because I am finding most of it a slog. Kitty and Emma are hardly relevant in it outside of teaching, and dare I say I do not give a fuck about these new students. They look goofy, act goofier and I was actually cheering on Mr. sinister for once.

Uncanny has been ok but suffers from the same issue that I really do not like these new characters being introduced and feel they are just written badly. There feels like there are no depth to these stories or stakes involved. Just them talking about being family and loving each other and pretty easily over coming each obstacle. When compared to Claremont, 90s and even 00s X-Men, most of this new content just feels soulless.
