Looks like X-Men to me! I see Magik, Rogue, Cyclops, Storm and Iceman.

Magik character design for Midnight X-Men

Build a team around Magik being the leader. For me, I want this to be a specialized X-Men team based around supernatural adventures.

Magik (leader)
Nightcrawler
Moonstar
Wolfsbane
Daken
Pixie

I know Nightcrawler is another teleporter but I think this works well when the team needs to separate on missions. Also Nightcrawler is a good moral compass to contrast with Magik.

Moonstar and Wolfsbane as New Mutant allies and they both have a supernatural element to them.

Daken as the brawler who has been to hell and back.

Pixie is learning the ropes as a magic user and learning combat skills from the team.

Cast them both on the next HOV season. Thank you.
