How does Cap feel about killing/what is his code?

I saw a panel of Cap getting mad at Black Widow for killing someone, and some people think it's confusing for him to react that way.

For me personally, I didn't think he had a code; I thought he just generally doesn't kill people.

Brave New World plays more like a phase 1 movie

Captain America: Brave New World is a modern 90’s political action throwback featuring Sam Wilson. BNW also plays more like a phase 1 Marvel movie but with better action and updated storylines. Phase 1 is an underrated phase that I actually miss because of their more grounded characters and stories with the exception of The Avengers.

Yaknow after everything thats been revealed about our world over the past decade, Captain America: Winter Soldier gives me the damn creeps.

Its *just* a super hero movie, don't sweat it.

Sure.

But...I just can't shake some of the weirdness in this movie. I just can't. The film is absolutely steeped in hard, evil conspiracy. Right off the bat, Steve finds out Widow is conducting her own clandestine intelligence operation while they're supposed to be on a rescue/recon mission. Then he finds out that SHIELD is secretly conducting a giant underground warehouse facility housing the most sophisticated new AI military equipment in the world.

The same equipment is going to use predictive measures in determining the location and termination of citizens that it has deemed dangerous or undesireable. Fury, his boss, a black man, is nearly executed in broad daylight by many white men dressed as police. We even see themes of phone bugging and location tracking. The movie is even so bold to allude to the *very real* Operation Paperclip, as a Nazi splinter group known as "Hydra" has fully enveloped the operations of the US Government.

We even have a mysterious mind controlled assassin who is responsible for some of the most consequential political deaths of the past 6 decades.

Like, this movie feels more and more real with each passing year. Like this shit is DARK. No monsters, no aliens, just pure political human-techno evil.

I've thought that Captain America, Black Panther and Kraven are all connected for 2 decades. Am I crazy or is my theory plausible?

Erskine's formula for Cap has never been truly replicated. Other's have created similar formulas with varying degrees of efficacy, but his formula hasn't been duplicated. They've been missing a key ingredient. Cap's shield used an ingredient from Wakanda. What if the formula did too?

Sergei Kravenoff was injured while on safari in Africa. A witch gave him a potion using unknown ingredients that not only healed him, but made him FAR more formidable. We don't know any ingredients used, but Wakanda IS in Africa.

I think one of the ingredients in the formula that made Cap and the potion that made Kraven is the Heart Shaped Herb that gives the members of T'Challa's family their abilities. It would explain the similarities in their capabilities, while the differences can be chalked up to each of their formulas individual imgredients. Maybe the witch who healed Kraven was Wakandan, or at least lived close enough to find a sample of the Herb. Erskine could have gotten some when the Weapon Plus program got their hands on Vibranium for Cap's shield.

Is it plausible?

I think William Burnside has to be one of the most underutilized Captain America villains

Aside him being retroactively Captain America of the 50s (which i adore as a concept) I feel like the character is one of the most underutilized villains in Cap’s Rouges gallery. He’s very similar to John Walker however unlike him that loved decades After Steve, William is the result of the America That Steve helped to build, the product of post-war America Nationalism, Mccarthyism and fanatism over the figure of Captain America, he’s what alt right people think Cap should be and what Steve fight against. I think also would make such a good villain for a Captain America movie, just imagine a 50s right wing man like him react to Sam Wilson (an AFRICAN-AMERICAN) to take the mantle of Captain America while he gets forgotten or remembered as a failed experiment. He’s like Homelander and Syndrome from The Incredibles combined into one and honestly is such a shame such an intresting villain like him doesn’t get used more in the comics and media alike.

What you guys think of him.

Berlin to Siberia timeline in Civil War

In Civil War, the Berlin fight ends with Steve and Bucky flying off in Team Iron Man’s quinjet to Siberia to intercept Zemo. They were in a time crunch.

In that same amount of time, Rhodey is knocked out of the sky and taken to surgery. Tony and Tasha go back to the compound in New York. Rhodey is apparently done with his hospital stuff because Tony is casually telling Tasha about the outcome. Somewhere in there, the four remaining members of Team Cap are arrested and taken to The Raft.

Tony flies his helicopter to The Raft, interviews Sam, then he Iron-Man-flies from there to Siberia…arriving just a few minutes after Steve and Bucky and right before T’Challa (who was following Tony.)

Tony’s trip should’ve taken a couple days at least, especially when you realize that his visit to The Raft happened sometime at night.

So…flying a supersonic Quinjet from Berlin to Siberia takes as long as flying from Berlin to the US via something else (because they didn’t have the Quinjet) then a helicopter to The Raft then free-flying as Iron Man to Siberia.

That doesn’t math right.

Did Steve and Bucky stop for a burger? Maybe a movie? Maybe a side-trip to honeymoon in Paris?

I know it “ain’t that kind of movie,” but hear me out. Does anybody have any in-universe explanation for the timing between the fight in Berlin and Siberia?

Cap survives Doomsday and Secret Wars?

Just rewatched Endgame (man it just doesn't hit like that anymore - although Brand New Day was superb).

It did get me thinking though... For Old Cap to show up at the end of Endgame in all his CGI wrinkled glory - he had to have survived everything in between right?

Thoughts ?

What would will Steve Rogers think of John Walker?

So I am watching the Falcon and the Winter Soldier I am wondering what would Steve Rogers think of the new Captain America? He acts like a jerk. Steve never used legal force on anyone. Would he be surprised and angry at John for disrespecting the shield? I honestly think he would be offended. I know the new Captain America was upset about the death of his friend but he went crazy and killed a guy for murdering him. I remembering think Lemar wouldn't want him to kill someone and this goes agianst everything Captain America stands for.
