Jeff Lemiere has to be one of my favorite comic book writers ever

Just finished his Berserker Unbound miniseries and that guy is just really good at writing characters. I’ve read also his other stuff like Black Hammer (One of my favorite comics ever) and Absolute Flash.

Probably i’m going to check out Fury of Firestorm and his other indie stuff like Gideon Falls, Essex Country etc. But for now I want to know what people think of him?

I think William Burnside has to be one of the most underutilized Captain America villains

Aside him being retroactively Captain America of the 50s (which i adore as a concept) I feel like the character is one of the most underutilized villains in Cap’s Rouges gallery. He’s very similar to John Walker however unlike him that loved decades After Steve, William is the result of the America That Steve helped to build, the product of post-war America Nationalism, Mccarthyism and fanatism over the figure of Captain America, he’s what alt right people think Cap should be and what Steve fight against. I think also would make such a good villain for a Captain America movie, just imagine a 50s right wing man like him react to Sam Wilson (an AFRICAN-AMERICAN) to take the mantle of Captain America while he gets forgotten or remembered as a failed experiment. He’s like Homelander and Syndrome from The Incredibles combined into one and honestly is such a shame such an intresting villain like him doesn’t get used more in the comics and media alike.

What you guys think of him.

What is the better run between these two.

Been thinking to read some Avengers comic lately and currently undecided if i should buy Roger Stern’s Avengers Omnibus or Kurt Busiek’s Avengers. Which one you consider the best?

Can’t stress enough how good Avengers EMH was

As a kid I really haven’t much superhero shows to watch honestly aside from Teen Titans, Wolverine and the X-Men and whatever Spider-Man show was on Air honestly, however if there’s a show which i’m so much ashamed for not having watched before is probably Avengers EMH. Like this show never aired on tv in my side and honestly is such a shame because this show is probably one of my favorite Marvel shows up with Spectacular Spider-Man and X-Men ‘97.

While the MCU was good it really hold it back for being both live action blockbuster movies and also the rights issue of the era, however EMH instead tries to instead do something similar to JLU or Young Justice and instead wants to have this show set in a Marvel Universe at Year 3 or 5. The Fantastic Four and Spider-Man both exist and the Avengers just came to be and honestly there’s no better way to make a Marvel show than just making it set in a live in Marvel Universe. But also all the characters are really good adaptations, I started this show last year as i was kind of bored and honestly When i saw how faithful they were some of the representation of those heroes were like Ant-Man or Hulk (this show and BND this year did him way better than the MCU in the last 7 years) it just made me smile.

You know, i don’t want to turn this post into “Marvel shouldn’t have cancel this, Disney is Evil yadda yadda yadda”, we all know should have started a Marvel Animated Univeare. Instead I want to use this post as more of a celebration of this show, so if you have any thoughts on the show or something about EMH you want to share please comment down here your thoughts or opinions in the show which i really like to hear and discuss.

After seeing Jean Gray in Brand New Day i’m pretty sure we are getting the O5 or a similar team in the MCU!!!

Probably they will get different costume for each and Beast is looking more like the modern one than this but overall i’m pretty confident to say we are getting this for the first MCU X-Men movie!!!

I’m going to scream if they announce them at D23!!!

I just love how all the recent big Marvel projects put New York in front and center

I'm so glad to see Marvel returning to treat New York as a character in recent movies and shows (except probably for Brave New World and Wonder Man but are still many). I felt like after Endgame Marvel movies started to shift too much away from the "world outside of your window" side of the Marvel universe, most movies either were set outside of New York or moved the action to space or the multiverse etc. We got a few movies or shows set there like Hawkeye or No Way Home but even there NYC felt less a character and more of a setting.

However a pattern i've been noticing is that in both 2025 and 2026 projects that Marvel released they seem to have finally understand why New York is so vital for Marvel as a whole. Especially BND seem to have understood that New York IS THE CENTER OF MARVEL. All the heroes live there and sometimes bump into each other. Projects like Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four finally understands how having your fight set in a city helps at building stakes for the third act, while Daredevil Born Again also did use New York and use it to build themes of corruption and to make an analogy to real world politics, which is probably the most Marvel thing ever.

I'm so glad to see many projects returning to the more grounded New York setting and hope to see this trend continue.

After the Fantastic Four arrive in the main MCU should they change their costumes to more modern ones?

And if they do how they should look like?

Now to be clear i hope they never do that because those costumes are perfect and if they end up do the error of give them the bland Randall Park Mr. Fantastic suit from MOM i will never forgive them. Though if they end up changing them what would be the road they should take?

I personally think they should take inspiration from the Ultimate Fantastic Four suits (yes i know is a pretty bad example to take inspiration from but bear with me) and give them a more John Byrne color palette with dark/cobalt blue and white. I think this combination might work for the MCU.

What you imagine Hank and Dean to look like as adults ?

I’ve been thinking about an headcanon continuiation of the show set 15-20 years after Radiant and I‘ve been wondering what people think the boys are going to look like in the future.

i think it was pretty clear that Dean didn’t want to have anything to do with Super Science or be an adventurer, so i see him becoming a professor and raise a family away from all the Super Science stuff.

Hank instead becomes an Adventurer, like Jonas but less of a POS and more of a “Man of action” than Scientist, he maybe use Venture Industries tech to Go on Adventures with Dermott as his bodyguard. He’s the one continue the tradition after Rusty retires (if he ever does).

or maybe Hank just becomes the Venture-Verse version of Batman LOL.

What you think ?

I finally finished The Venture Bros. after 4 years.

It was an amazing experience to watch this whole show in the last few years and honestly while i defenetly wanted to see more of it i'm glad the creators were able to end the show on an high note.

If anyone wants to ask me anything about what i think of the show or just chat about it feel free to ask.

With the season involving so much time travel could be possible they're setting up the Legion of Super-Heroes to appear in the finale or in Season 4?

Also Kara seemingly drifting away from Jimmy might open the door for Brainiac 5 to appear and possibly Kara develop romantic feelings for her (though i hope she gets with Jimmy eventually).

Arrears in Science is such a Fantastic (yet Heart Breaking) episode

I started watching the final season of the series and my god if the first episodes just let the show run from the start. The First Two episodes we’re fun but my god if Arrears in Science is just a Fantastic episode and might be the show’s best episode.

First off, Fuck Jonas Venture.

Seriously, we already know he wasn’t a good dad but knowing that he was such a bad friend to Blue Morpho, how he blackmailed him with the sex tape only for then turn him in a cyborg and then throw in the trash shows how much of an Ass he actually was. I’m so glad he died 2 Times.

Also i didn’t really expect to see so many connections to the past Seasons of the show. How the Movie Night of ’87 tied so well with both Jonas’ Death, Blue Morpho, Vendata and The Pyramid Wars and How it technically that night is the reason Why most of the stuff in the show end up happening really put in perspective how much care Doc and Jackson put in building the show’s story and lore and honestly i think it has probably the best way how a show has to build his lore.

But also after see this episode I gotta say that Monarch is probably the most tragic character in the show, Up with Rusty probably. Both his mother and father died in a plane crash and was left to live with butterflies until adult age, then his father turned into a robot by his “friend” and them brainwashed by Dr. Zin and became a supervillain but never being able to remember his past and when he met his son for the first time in years, it was too late.

This is Seriously an Amazing episode of an utterly Amazing Series. 10/10.

I know it might be unlikely but since Matt Shakman isn't returning for the Fantastic Four sequel i'd love to see Joe Johnston coming back to direct the sequel.

I know the sequel is likely going to be modern day MCU but i think honestly you can still apply some of the timey feel of the first movie to the modern era and i think Joe Johnston is someone who defenetly understands how to handle timeless stories with a retro vibe.

Also i say this because i'm a sucker for both The First Avenger (my fav Phase 1 movie) and also The Rocketeer. If he's ever interested to come back to Marvel i'd love to see him doing the Fantastic Four sequel.

Thoughts on Spider-Man and She-Hulk as a couple/duo?

(Art by Adi Garnov)

I personally don't mind them as both a duo, whatever is platonic or romantic. Although i think because of age difference they should stay more of an allies honestly. Though is always fun to see them togheter every now and then, I think their friendship should be explored more.

What was the biggest factor in the US’s military success during World War 1?

making research for an alternate History project i’m making. Aside for the strong military and being very big in population and territory and distant from the destruction during the War, What really was their biggest contributing factor in their success in the war despite never having fought a War on European soil until that point?

Theory: What If B1Z isn't Bizarro as we thought he would be...

...But is actually going to be revealed to be Doomsday?

We do know from both how this season has been building on and from Episode 5's title that is going to take inspiration from The Death of Superman and Reign of the Superman.

I think also the reason why Jon is actually going back in time is to stop Clark and Kara from dying from Doomsday.

My theory is that Lex is going to find out about B1Z and probably experimenting on him, this leading to him mutate into Doomsday. The show is no stranger to reinvent characters so that might be either an Hulk style failsafe mode when is in critical danger.

This leads to Episode 5 (titled "The Death of Superman") that is likely going to be about Jon trying to prevent the death of his father.
