The realisation that nothing in this game matters.

I want to preface by saying this, this is my fav mobile game ever, however I was getting nostalgic and remembered when 5 stars were the coolest thing ever.

Then when the whole community was hyped to see the first ever 6 star rank 3,everybody was doing Abyss and it was really cool to watch.

Fast forward to today and the cycle continues,it’s now 7 star rank 5,and the cycle will continue into 8 stars and so on.

Whenever you feel your account is maxed, there goalpost moved and there is a new goal to reach.

When 8 stars come out it’ll be another repeat of the same journey,I’ll keep playing the game, but it does feel alot like this image.

I always wanted starco,I just hated how we reached it

It breaks my heart,I loved this show so much. I fell out of love for different reasons,I always wanted starco but they way the show went about it always made me so angry.

I think my biggest issue was always the fact the show intentionally wanted a love triangle at all times,Marco and Jackie were nice but I really enjoyed star and marco dynamic in the first two season,Star always did have a crush on Marco and it was fun to watch.

My issues however come when Jackie and Marco breakup,I don’t care what anyone says it’s one of the most contrived things ever,Marco suddenly starts acting out of character so they can push him going to mewni.

(Side note Marco was my favourite character but he’s super insufferable in the last 2 seasons.)

The whole him being jealous and rude to Tom for dating Star just leaves a bad taste in my mouth, however unlike most the fandom I was never a fan of Tom and Star,I just hated the forced love triangle.

When Star and Marco do finally get together to me at this point are shells of their former selves,Marco is 10x more annoying in s4 and Star is honestly still likeable, but less charming. i don’t know I feel conflicted because I’m happy we got a Starco ending i just hated the way we reached it. I don’t know if anyone else feels the same.

The DCEU was still salvageable after the second week BVS drop,Warner bros got a second wind but blew it with the disaster known as Justice league.

I always thought that BvS was the movie that destroyed the brand to general audiences, the movie was negatively reviewed and had the most infamous second week drop due to negative word of month, but I was looking back and i was shocked that it’s actually justice league that was the movie destroyed the brand, despite BvS being negatively received it made profit, but not nearly near enough what is should’ve.However what i was interested in was the movies afterwards.it’s box office performance is really similar to the amazing spiderman 2:huge potential, disappointing returns but still profitable due to poor feedback.

Both wonder woman and suicide squad, movies which both had female leads(a huge risk) were able to be huge success despite the shortcomings of BvS.I think BvS was unpopular but general audiences were clearly still interested in the brand,Warner bros essentially got a second chance to salvage the brand but then the mitigating diaster that was justice league occurred.Aquaman is simply an outlier but seriously how can you have 6 of DC most famous characters and be the least finically successful movie, this was a colossal fuckup that unlike BvS couldn’t be repaired.

The movie grossing less then suicide squad was the nail in the coffin,if a villian group is more profitable then DC most famous group then the franchise has no legs to stand on. Not a single movie grossed about 500 million again aside aquamn so to me,I will always point to this moment instead of BvS.

What do you think of patty as a character

I think she’s an interesting character, but I don’t understand why she has a large fanbase on YouTube, but she was alright in the new 52.

It’s crazy how both times Warner bros has started a cinematic universe, there were issues surrounding batman

Rewind back to 2010s during the inception of the DCEU,when Nolan had finished his batman trilogy,it was rumoured that Warner bros had offered Christian Bale a staggering 50 million to reprise his role as batman, which he turned down. This was an issue because Warner bros really wanted Bale as he was already proven to be a success and was popular with fans, and any new batman would constantly be compared to it’s predecessor.

It’s why when casting for a new batman they wanted it to be vastly distinct,a much physically older batman, that would deal with fantastical elements,be an anchor of a team instead of Nolan take, this was audiences would be able to distinguish between the two batman, however one issue was since Nolan had some minimal involvement in Man of steel, and when Warner bros was marketing Man of steel they heavily referenced Nolan,so when Ben Affleck was casted as Batman for BvS it led to alot of fan feuds, this led DCEU was already having complications due to a now divided fanbase.

A solo batman movie was planned but never happened due to a plethora of issues, fast foward today and yet again there are issues surrounding batman,The batman came out almost 5 years ago and was a huge success, however the delays are a huge issue,Just like Nolan who empathised on a Grounded batman with alot of realism,Reeves also follow the same principles as well as wanting his batman movies to be self contained, which is an issue because it clashes with the DCU batman,Gunn has to make a batman that is distinct and rethink his batman strategy because reeves hasn’t been able to follow his deadlines.

It’s crazy how both situations are so similar and the issue Warner bros has had with their cinematic universe has been batman in both cases, batman is DC most finically profitable character so it’s very complicated.

Barry Allen should have black hair in the comics.

Barry is no longer identifiable to the larger population as a character with blonde hair, nor is it a key trait he still needs to have, nor do you need to retcon anything to fix the issue.People act as if changing hair colour is inexcusable, hair dyes exists, you can easily justify a change in a character design, costumes constantly change so DC can easily make his hair black.

Barry has had 3 live action adaptations and ALL of them have had black hair,Barry only has 3 non negotiable: He should be in love with Iris,he should be in central city and should be a forensic scientist. Having blonde hair isn’t a key part of his character that can’t be changed, and him being recognisable to the a general audience is far better,to pretty much most people who watch flash media Barry is a character with black hair,I showed my friend a paperback of the rebirth flash comic and he couldn’t even recognise Barry.

Again I think Barry dying his hair black and making that his official look would be good for the brand in the long term.

Why are youtube shorts so obesssed with injustice

This trend of making recaping injustice into short form content needs to stop, moreover any time there’s a video of DC there’s always comments that go “imagine this was injustice,____ would act different ”

It’s been 13 years why is injustice still so relevant,it’s either injustice or deadpool comics being covered into short form content on youtube, these comics can be condensed because there’s not much depth to them.

I truly believe the central park 5 aren’t victims but aggressors.

I remember watching the documentary on Netflix about these 5 kids, and feeling so overwhelming saddened by what happened. It scarred me for months that they were accused of stuff they didn’t do.

However I revisited the case months ago because it was always something that troubled me,but I was shocked. These kids aren’t innocent at ALL. They went around attacking and robbing innocent people at the park,a part the Netflix documentary omits for no reason. Even if you disregard the testimony these kids DID beat up random people at the park.Another issue I had was they WERE never acquitted, but vacated

I believe this is what happened, these kids were going around attacking innocent people at the park, they attacked Tisha and then left. This is when the man called reyes stumbled upon Tisha and assaulted her. These kids hold far more responsibility then the documentary paints out.

I now feel satisfied, this case consumed so much of my life because i feared the police,I still do but i feel so betrayed that i defended these 5 men so much, when they weren’t innocent.

The best selling comic book titles in 2012(the entire year)

It’s always fun to look at data, and see how much trends change.Wow was the avengers huge during this time,a large part of this was influenced by the success of the Avengers movie released that year(suicide squad also had a similar effect on its comic in 2016). Do you think the avengers can reach these heights again?

X-men evolution made me a fan of Cyclops and the Xmen

This show was so amazing,I always hated the live action movies as a kid and any animated series of X-men as they would always make either wolverine the main character or that stupid love triangle between Scott,Jean and wolverine-which they would always try to embarrass Scott.

This show made me fall in love with the X-men,and reinforced my belief that Cyclops should always be the main character,I know they aged down the characters to be teens but I think it worked out well. (I also love nightcrawler in this show he was cool)
