[TOMT] Music video I watched when I was younger

Hello Reddit,

I wanted to ask if anyone can help me find an MV I saw when I was really young. The only scene I remember from it was the whole thing rewinding backwards at the end of the MV. It's also probably released between 2000 and 2020, which I know is a big gap, but I really can't remember anything else. I think there was also glass-shattering, with a clock turning anticlockwise at the end to show the time rewinding.

Now, I thought it was "Symphony" by Zara Larson, but I rewatched the MV, and it wasn't. So sorry for any grammatical errors, I'm new to Reddit and had to make an account just for this question. Thank you so much.

Edit: Based on all of your replies, the MV is somewhere released in the 2020s. Most likely, it was released at the same time as Zara Larsson's Symphony.

[TOMT][Website][2000s-2010s???][REPOST CUZ I GOT NO ANSWERS AND MY ACCOUNT GOT BANNED] Weird AI chatbot. Help me get it out of my head!!!!!!

I remember this weird ai chatbot. I don't remember if it had some sort of main menu or not. This ai chatbot had a very basic and outdated type of webpage, it was all black with white text, maybe the font was times new roman but i'm not so sure about that, i'm not so confident about the ui, but i'm sure it wasnt a super fancy and modern webpage. The thing i remember the most was at the right. In the left there was just the typical box where you could put text and see the response but in the right there was an image that changes. At first the image might have been some avatar of a girl (could have been 3d/cgi) but i'm not super sure about that. After that the images change (after you send the text), i remember one of the pictures was a picture of some sort of buddhist god or something, but i'm not sure if it was just a set of images it already had or it searched them up on the internet.

[TOMT] musical, ‘dark’, based on a book but has film adaptations, a few named characters, large singing ensemble

trying to guess what my school musical is

teacher said that it was a bit like Chicago but darker

IT IS NOT an Alice in wonderland adaptation, Jekyll and Hyde, bugsy malone, moulin rouge or cabaret (we have guessed those)

apparently the musical has a ‘famous name’

would appreciate help as I like to watch a recording of the musical before I think about wether or not I should sign up for an audition (I have a pretty busy after school schedule)

what we know:

-multiple film adapatations

-not disney

-famous name

-a few named characters and a big ensemble

-PROBABLY based on a book

-dark (bare in mind it’s still a school production)

edit: now not 100% sure if it is based on a book or not

[TOMT] Surreal movie about and narrated by a little girl who travels the desert

I've had this movie stuck in the back of my mind for years. I watched it when I was very young, probably 6 (so around 2013?) on a CD.

I am Polish, but the movie took place in Britain maybe? Or potentially France (again, I was very young at the time and didn't know much geography but it seems right).

The movie starts in a city, I think somewhere near water, with a restaurant. The main character is a little girl (around 10?) but she has a very neutral facial expression through out pretty much the entire film. She also doesn't talk to anyone, only narrates everything to the viewer.

At some point she ends up alone in the desert - that's the part that made me think back to this movie so often, because of how bizarre it was. She sees some fennec foxes at one point, then there's a scene with some kind of colourful sand? It's like a small circular rainbow bursting out into all kinds of hues, but its all made out of sand. I think the girl touches it and maybe that's what takes her back home?

At some point she introduces another little girl (I think she's black?) saying "that's my friend", who she met in the desert. The friend also has a mom that is on screen for like a second and doesn't say anything. They then show the audience their "house" which is literally just normal indoor appliances (like an oven and a dinner table, etc), but all the walls are gone. It's literally just an average european house but with no walls.

The whole thing reminded me of The Little Prince, since the "uncanny child walking through the desert and seeing surreal characters" is pretty spot on.

EDIT: additional information

- IT WAS A CHILD FRIENDLY MOVIE!!! Very abstract and disjointed but it was for kids

- The narrator was a young girl, around 10. She is alone, I dont remember her having any companions long term.

- The girl was white I'm pretty sure. With blondish straight, kinda short hair.

- The movie was very calm and definitely more modern, around the 2000s. It was just this one girl who calmly narrates everything but never speaks or even looks at the camera, if i remember correctly. Not sure if there even was a plot to it. Seemed more like some kind of surreal auto-biography where things just happen and we're along for the ride

- Also, the more i think about it: It might not have been a full movie? Again, it was very disjointed and probably not nearly enough content for a full kids movie. It's possible that was I saw was only a section of the film.

For example, the old teletubbies had these cameos for kids to show whatever activity of the day. In Polish, those were dubbed with a "lektor" which is just a grown man/woman speaking over the original audio (which can still be heard in the background, making for a pretty eerie and uncanny effect). The movie I remember had a similar thing going on. With the girl just suddenly appearing in a desert with nonsensical plot and playing with her friend. The strange narration also would make sense if it was supposed to be read by a lektor.

Obviously, I doubt that what I'm thinking of was a teletubbies cameo. It just doesn't fit the show at all. But I think it might have been something similar, maybe?

[TOMT] a show/movie with an annoying dweebie villain

I can picture this villain actor so clearly in my mind but can’t come up with the movie/series

Here’s my limited info: it’s a live action show, and I’m remembering Brooklyn 99 or Parks and Rec vibes.

The villain is a white guy with a gap in his front teeth.

I’m remembering that the villain is nerdy and annoying and takes himself very seriously, but is eventually treated like a joke.

Any help is very much appreciated!

[TOMT]Wizard of Oz kinda? Help a girl out!

I watched this movie as a kid at my uncle’s funeral, I think maybe it was a very loose surreal even stranger wizard of oz. I remember a scene where they were at a ballet show but the male ballerinas at enlarged parts that the other ballerinas jumped from. There was also a scene where they were in a pizza restaurant but the cheese on the pizza stretched across table to table and they had to step over it to get anywhere. At the end I think one of them tapped their shoes to go home. Anyone know?

[TOMT] [ANIME] I'm looking for a meme from an anime I've never seen. It had two guys flexing together and shaking hands at the end. One of them was pure muscle and one was muscle with a gut.

I'll take the anime name as a win but if I could find that scene I'd be happiest.

[TOMT] song that ends in a piano solo??

I am trying so hard to remember what song it is, it’s eating me away tbh. It’s been stuck in my head for hours and I can’t figure it out. I listen to a lot of types of music, it could be like 70-90s, rock, by metal, alt, pop i truly don’t know.

https://voca.ro/113ePCpt9Bfi

edit: i just want to say thanks for helping! i am actively listening to every song thats suggested even if i dont recognize it

edit 2: i just want to clarify some things, its going to be the last 20 seconds ish, its a normal piano, and the song will immediately end right where my voca ends. i can only remember the very last part of it. I believe the song has a singer sing its last line, it fades into piano and it finishes.

[TOMT] Missing Old Horror Anthology Series Episode

Hoping someone can help me find an old episode from a horror series. Used to watch Tales From the Crypt and Darkside etc. There was one episode in particular that I’ve never been able to locate. Not even sure what show it was from. This was over 30 years ago, so the finer details are fuzzy, but I know it took place on another planet or space station. There was a creature of some type that was trying to get at the last remaining victim, but he was safely locked away in a passcode protected room. Creature obviously didn’t know it. At the end, the creature smiles and tells the man he has nothing but time and he’d guess the correct numbers eventually. Ending always creeped me out as the man had to sit and listen to the creature methodically punching in codes for however long he had left.

randomly popped into my head, it was my favourite! had it probably 2010s kids book, think there was a little kid (maybe not lol) but main part was there was like a bunch of different monsters and each page had a new one and swallowed the monster before it, at the end there was a picture of the biggest monster and all the monsters inside its belly, and i think he burped and they all came flying out? could be wrong with that detail tho. i remember so many of the pages with detail too much to explain tho, there was a water monster, big tall stones one had to jump across but it got ate 😂 IDKKKK please someone

[TOMT] mildly freaky, probably pretty obscure YouTube video

Hello, everybody!

I'm looking for a YouTube video that I think I watched around 4 or 5 years ago, but there's a good chance it was older than that. I got a very 2008-2009 "weird side of YouTube" vibe from it tbh.

This video's premise was fairly simplistic, but I remember feeling pretty uncomfortable during it. I do remember the comments being quite amusing though.

The video consisted of an image of a smiley face with a light blue background (that had these eyes that just stared into your soul, making it look quite uncanny and unsettling) as a really distorted version of a famous song played, which I believe MIGHT have been "You're Beautiful" by James Blunt, with very weird-sounding vocals.

I cannot for the life of me remember the title of this video. I think there might have been an exclamation mark (or a few) at the end of it, but I could be very wrong on that.

I tried looking up "YouTube video with distorted James Blunt song", but nothing that appeared was the one I was looking for.

Thank you for any help, everybody!

[TOMT] movie from (not sure) probably 20 yrs ago, a character that is uppity and definitely thinks he’s better than the other is trying to convince the protagonist to do something and calls him a pet name along the lines of “boopsie” or “ boobie”. Wish I could give you more info.

There’s the feeling that the snobby guy is trying to get rid of the protagonist by talking him into doing whatever.

[TOMT] [MOVIE] weird black/white scene of a woman who had an extra deformed face on her back.

I was on a Delta flight recently and caught a bit of what someone in front of me was watching. It looked like a black/white scene of a man and woman doing bedroom activities. For most of the scene the man was shown from the waist up and kept his shirt on. the woman started off on all fours but had a deformed second face somewhere on her backside that looked like it was heckling/taunting the man. It was definitely a full face (mouth eyes nose hair).

[TOMT] Movie stuck in my head for years maybe based on a true event, need help!

hope I tagged that title right, I'm new here.

This one is probably going to be tough, Chatgpt did its best, but ultimately was no help, this is a movie that's been stuck in my head for some time, and I remember only bits and pieces, but here's the most accurate keyword summary I can give, if you ask I might be able to remember some other details, but very few, I only mostly remember the murder, and even that is spotty in my mind, I believe this was a 90s indie FIM, or low budget, but it seemed pretty realistic, at least at the time, and too specific it not be based on a true story, or true murder.

Three teen boys drive a trusting friend in a (black van?) to a desert/sandstone rock formation. Hidden MAC-10 style guns are retrieved from the rocks and the friend is suddenly executed. The killers were joking beforehand and stood in shock afterward. Low-budget realistic movie seen on YouTube around 2009, possibly based on a true story.

Fingers crossed 🤞
