Actor from 90s he was never a starring one but maybe co star. Always played a quiet person. I was watching other mommy and the daughter looks kind of like them like they could be father/daughter in real life. Ive been googling like crazy and coming up empty. He had like darker hair, no facial hair.

…and an odd gesture. Okay, so my husband and I watched something. A movie or a show, we think? 🤔 In it was a scene where a young boy, possibly blonde, reacts negatively to another character/person by making an angry face and holding up his hand with his index finger in a hook shape.
We have been using it a joke reaction to one another but cannot remember where it originated.
(Ex. I tease with a sarcastic comment and he just makes the face and shakes his hook finger at me…)

Anyway we have Googled and recruited friends but are totally lost.

We are in the US and this was presumably streaming somewhat recently on Netflix, Peacock, Disney, or Hulu, as these are the services we subscribe to.

EDIT: My husband is now convinced it had Nicolas Cage. I am less convinced, but do with that what you will.
I feel like it was a pretty silly scene since we continue to emulate it!

now, i remember there was an adult character (cant remember gender) who was telling someone about an event in their childhood, they told about how they drowned a baby(i think sibling) more or less on purpose because(i think) jealousy and when they held the babies head underwater they liked the feeling of power, and when the baby stopped moving, they were glad about it at first, until the finality of their actions became apparent, at which point they started regretting it and then it haunted them for the rest of their life

pretty sure it was a movie or tv show, pls help

I watched this movie in the theatre when it released, can’t find it no matter what, I looked EVERYWHERE.

The MC was this black guy who was also a dad and had a daughter and son

It begins with 3(?) boys playing in a forest (it was bright and not at night) one of them fell into a body of water and drowned, next scene shows a casket with the dad grieving his son.

then it shows him having a huge mental breakdown where he destroys everything and he was in this white room that had a glass tank of some sort and he destroyed that.

now the rest of the movie genuinely didn’t make sense to me at all, I remember a scene in the middle of it where the dad is walking through a foggy dark forest being depressed, his daughter was desperately looking for him and when she found him she gave a speech which helped her father feel better.

also a random scene where the daughter drinks something weird that makes her faint? The ending was VERY weird and felt like a dream.

when I finished watching that movie at the time, I saw what people thought of it on youtube and they all said it was bad.

I remember the poster as well, blueish-grayish sky background that was dark, title written in red and shows the characters faces (I can’t remember anyone but the dad and his daughter though).

I cannot remember an exact year, but maybe 2018 or 2019, there was a disturbing thumbnail of a video that depicted a side-by side photo: One photo was a regular photo of a young boy's school portrait, and the next one was a graphic photo of the same boy, but with some kind of medical deformity that, like mentioned, made his cheeks droopy. He was smiling in both photos. I don't remember the video name. I am leaning more towards a "disturbing medical mysteries" video. I tried researching, but I couldn't find it. I can see the image in my head perfectly, at least the disturbing one. If anyone can help me find this, it would be a pleasure.

I need help identifying a movie i watched between 2004-2007, so it came out probably early 2000s. I remember the main character being dead(I think a zombie) but it wasn’t a zombie movie, more like a coming of age, some light comedy. he was living on a bus in an empty mall parking lot I think. young male, I think there was a love interest or a friendship but a lot of internal dialogue as he’s explaining to us about being dead and not wanting to be. I’ve searched everything and can’t figure it out.

I remember very specific details about this movie. It involved actual NFL players who played characters as coaches I believe. And all the kids on the team were kind of nerdy or not very good or had some sort of funny physical trait about them . There was one girl on the team and I remember one of the guys on the team was the boy who played the character in Casper the movie. And this is probably the weirdest hint, but I remember this little kid having a really big snot bubble lol. One of the other actors was the dad in “Honey I shrunk the kids”

Talling with a friend and I'm trying to remember this children's show I watched when I was 5 or 6. Here's a list of things I think I remember about it. Some of this information might be incorrect or misremembered. I'd love if anyone could tell me what it was.

- Aired in the early to mid 2000s. Definitely at least existed by 2005/6 but may have started earlier or got new episodes after that.

- Aired on either PBS Kids/PBS Kids Go/Sprout or Nick Jr./Noggin. Definitely meant as a preschooler or otherwise young kids show.

- Artstyle was CGI with realistic (for the time) environments mixed with cartoony anthropomorphic animals for the characters.

- Main character was a boy pig, meant to be maybe 8-12 years old. Most of the episodes were about his misadventures with his friends (that I don't think were pigs but I don't remember what animals they were).

- Main character had a family consisting of a mother, a younger sibling (I think a girl), and maybe a dad?

- The setting was in the countryside, green and hilly with mostly only farms and other rural structures around. Main character lived on a farm himself, often forced to do chores he did not want to do.

- Characters spoke in an accent I do not remember enough to identify, but I think it must be from the British Isles (show may have been developed in the UK or Ireland based on this, but that's only speculation on my end).

- The characters often rode in this minecart looking thing that had flames painted on the side and was pretty openly shown to be dangerous.

That's really all I remember about this show. I really wish I could remember its name because we're talking about childhood cartoons and I used to really like this one.

I've been searching for this movie for a while its about a man that has been infected by a virus turning him into a zombie if he doesn't take medecine like some kind of injection that keep him from turning into a zombie. This guy breaks into a broadcasting building and keeps hostage the people in it because he wants to reveal the truth about the people that infected him. He was then about to turn into a zombie and unfortunately couldnt take his injection so he completly turn into one and then he starts biting people and they also become zombies and on and on... The protagonists are a man and a woman, the man brung his younger sister to work so she is also in the building and the three of them try to escape the building and everything.

Please if you know what movie i'm talking about tell me i've been searching for years. I watched it a long time ago on youtube for free like in 2017 or 2018 maybe 2019 but not before or after those years. HELP ME

so basically when I was a wee lil’ baby boy (around when I was 4-6) I was absolutely addicted to mr potato heads. I just couldnt get enough of the things. but one day on YouTube, and I can’t remember if this was bundled with a collection of other actually real mr potato head commercials or just standalone, but I vividly remember coming across a supposed mr potato head commercial that was 3D animated, mostly just in a completely white void other than the setting. it featured a violent, barbaric mr potato head, smaller than the average mr potato head that didn‘t speak English and instead just shouted “POTATO” whenever it spoke i think, and what I remember most is that this crazed mr potato head kicked another mr potato head off of a cliff and slowly panned out into what I can remember as a load of mr potato head skulls or something adjacent, and the only other thing I remember is there being a shot at the end with a mr potato head box and the logo for the toy, but then the violent one kicked down the logo and shouted “POTATO” one more time before the video ended. I only ever remember watching it once and never seeing it ever again. it was so horrifying and it terrified me as a kid (I should probably mention it was around 2015-2017), and I’ve wanted to rediscover the vide ever since (for what reasons I have no idea as it’s still visibly taking a toll on me just talking about it), but I have never found it again..

I want to know if anybody else also remembers this or if I’m just completely insane and on my own so please help me out here I’m trying to rediscover childhood trauma

My husband and I have been quoting this silly little video back and forth for years, and I’ve never been able to find it again. We met in 2018 so it has to be from not too long after, maybe early 2020s. Here’s the script:

Creature 1: Do you ever wish that you could just be long?
Creature 2: But you do belong!
Creature 1: No. You misunderstand.
(Creature 1 grows to be so tall that their head is in space.)

I don’t remember a ton about the visuals, but I think it was 2D animation with colorful blobs.

At least 10 years ago, I heard the reading of a short story on NPR. It was on a weekend in the middle of the day. I don’t remember many details except that it was about a house that changed around its occupants. There was music underneath the reader. It was a bit creepy and haunting but was not a ghost story. Please help!

I'm looking for a book that my mom had partially read to me around 1993-1995 when I was about 8 or 10 years old, though this book might have been published in the 70's or 80's. Each chapter was a different girl's name with the story being each girl's experience of puberty and adolescence. For example, one chapter could have been titled "Angela" and the chapter detailed Angela's experience getting boobs and wearing her first bra. The next chapter could have been Sally and her story of getting her first period. Each chapter had a pen illustration of the girl.

This is most likely a book that I found at the library and brought home for us to read together. This book also had a chapter about masturbation, at which point my religious mother stopped reading and took the book away. I'd like to find it again and finally finish the story I had been excited to hear.

I can't ask my mom because she will not remember. I don't have any siblings. No one else I know read this book. Maybe some GenXer remembers this?

Watched the film in a Polish history class in college about a decade ago. I believe it was set in the 50s or 60s, a young woman is detained in prison and subjected to forms of torture to get her to confess to some kind of crime. Her main interrogator is Jewish and angrily protests when she compares him to the Nazis. At some point she has a child with him while she is in prison. She is eventually released from prison, I believe the interrogator dies at some point?
